dear john:DEAR J O H N ,What do you think of a guy who lives entirely for his mother? I've been going with him for a few months now ft it's driving me crazy* He lives with her, meets her for lunch, calls her if we're out on a date ft always has to be home early...and she isn't even elderly or incapacitated.

PHOOEY'.'.DEAR PHOOEY,You are right. PHOOEY’. 11

JOHN.

DEAR JOHN,A friend of mine told me that the GATZETTE was a Tavern Guild publication. I have also heard rumors that S.I.R. has something to do with it. Can you clarrify?

CONFUSED.

DEAR CONFUSED,It is never wise to listen to rumors in the

first place. We have received many letters asking this same question.ADZ—GAYZETTE is completely independent. We

do not represent any Gay organization, Club Guild or group. Although GAYZETTE is not controlled or influenced by the mentioned organizations, we do try to work closely with them. The primary purpose of this paper, is to represent and be responsive to the total Gay population. We are especially interested in the welfare of the individual. GAYZETTE is supported through advertising only.

JOHN.

DEAR JOHN,Hy lover has one pierced ear-and he embarrea- aee me when I intrduce him to family or straight friends. I tried to shame him by purchasing a dangling rhinestone for him. Whon he picked me up at work, he was wearing it. What would you do?

HUMILIATEDDEAR HUMILIATED,I would either ask him to pierce his other

ear so he could wear the pair,or I'd buy him a satin dress and high pumps with rhinestone heels to match the danglers.

JOHN

DEAR JOHN,You seem to have something going going with your colunmand you almost sound like you know what you're doing. I'll believe in you if you cam find a solution to ny problem. No matter how hard I try, I can't get my lover to compliment my cooking. We get along great except for thie. NO JULIA CHILD

DEAR NO,THat's easy, ask him to help you out in the kitchen. Give him the tough jobs.Soon he'll appreciate and compliment you. If that doesn't work, EAT OUT'.

JOHN
