From the Executive Director, Brian Gibson . . .

The tag line, “Why We March,” isused for the national March for Life inWashington, D.C. This message is usedto promote the march and to promote thelife message on social media and beyond.Rallying around this message are hun-dreds of thousands of marchers whoattend this annual event.

Also, all across the nation, in state cap-itals and major cities, pro-lifers cometogether to march for life. In each ofthese locations, the marchers could justas easily use the same line, “Why WeMarch.”

But this tagline needs to cause us topause and deeply think about what ishappening with abortion. The ultimatereason to give for “Why We March” isbecause the killing of our unborn broth-ers and sisters must come to an end.“Why We March” needs to call usbeyond our comfort zones to a deepercommitment to stand for the lives of theunborn.

It needs to move us to be present at theabortion facilities in prayer and witnesswhere the babies are killed. It shouldmove us to, at the minimum, supportsidewalk counseling, if not outright callus to become sidewalk counselors. Itneeds to place in our hearts and minds thedesire to aid the whole pro-life move-ment in its various forms and efforts toend this horrendous human rights viola-tion. It must open us to the grace of Godto stand up at this time with courage towork to stop this vicious attack on humanlife called abortion.

And even if we were not able to attendany of the marches for life, “Why WeMarch” in this meaning needs to resonateand reverberate throughout our beings.Until this becomes ingrained in our lives, abortion will continue.

DuluthAbout 60 participated in the Jericho March for Life outside Duluth’s abortion mill January 22, marching and praying for the end ofabortion. About 10 protesters came to support the killing of unborn children. That evening"A Biblical Manifesto on the Shedding ofInnocent Blood” was held with four men dressed as Old Testament prophets reading 45 scriptures on the shedding of innocent blood.John Miller read his poem, "Innocent Eyes," and gave a message at the Manifesto. There were about 60 that came for that program.

Central FloridaJanuary 22, 2018 marked the 45th

anniversary of the infamous Roe v. WadeSupreme Court decision which strippedaway all rights from the smallest, youngest and most vulnerable in ourland, the unborn. In the midst of almosta half century, over 60 million little babyboys and girls have lost their lives vio-lently through the brutal act of abortion.

As we gathered on this memorial datein front of the Orlando City Hall, wemourned the lost of these little ones whonever had their right to life, liberty andthe pursuit of happiness; we exposed thebrutality of abortion and the bloodshedwhich flows across this city and thenation; worshiped and lifted up the name

This ad, “Abortion on your own terms.Options in the comfort of your ownhome,” has been running in the trashyTwin Cities tabloid, “City Pages,” by theWhole Woman’s abortion center inMinneapolis. This abortion mill is part ofthe Whole Woman’s Health abortionchain, based in Texas and founded byMinnesota native, Amy Miller, who hasbeen attempting for years to remove the“stigma” of abortion. Miller has beencaught on an undercover Center forMedical Progress video discussing thetrade in aborted baby parts from herMinneapolis abortion mill.  (Watch thisbrief video on our website, plam.org.Scroll down to “Latest News.”)

An call to Whole Woman’s revealedthat this ad is not referring to a new abor-tion method. Rather, it refers to the two-part “abortion pill” method (RU-486),which Whole Woman’s has been usingfor years. The caller was told that shewould take the first pill in the abortioncenter and the second drug “24 to 48hours later in the comfort of your ownhome.” This is just a new marketing ployto sell abortions.

In a related story, Preterm abortion

center in Cleveland is running billboardswith slogans such as “Abortion issacred”, “Abortion is gender equality”,and “Abortion is life-saving”. A coalitionof pro-life groups, including some whichfocus on promoting the pro-life messagein the Black community, is preparing abillboard campaign to counter theseOrwellian ads.

by Debra Braun, Education Director

The branch office of Pro-Life ActionMinistries in Central Florida, directed byMichele Herzog, has conducted “Carol-ing for Life” outside the abortion mills inthe Orlando area for several years andoften babies have been saved as womenare moved by the carols to reconsidertheir decision to abort. This year twobabies were saved from the Robbinsdaleabortion center in Minnesota during ourfirst local “Caroling for Life” event, simultaneously held at three abortioncenters in the Twin Cities on December16! A total of 85 carolers sang outsidePlanned Parenthood and Whole Wom-an’s in addition to the Robbinsdale mill.

Three abortion centers were visited bythe carolers in Central Florida as well, but in that case, as in previous years, theparticipants traveled from mill to mill.

Twelve pro-lifers took part in “Carol-ing for Life” December 15 outside theDuluth abortion center. Seven escortsshowed up to counter the caroling. “Sixabortion-minded mothers went into thebuilding before people began to show upfor the caroling,” said Sarah Winandy ofthe Duluth branch. When the carolersarrived, “it was such a blessed time ofpraise and singing. What's more is thatthe escorts got to hear our songs of praiseto our Savior. We noticed the escortsstanding around waiting for more abor-tion clients, but no more came! PraiseGod! Perhaps our presence and singingdeterred them from coming in.”

All the leaders of our “Caroling forLife” sites agreed that these were power-ful, inspiring mornings!

Caroling, and braving

the bitter cold in Duluth

While singing the beautiful carols,we always make sure to reach out tothe abortion-bound women andmen as well! (Outside OrlandoWomen’s Center December 23)

Above -- An empty manger provides a sad symbol of abortion during the carolingoutside the St. Paul Planned Parenthood. As sidewalk counselors reached out to theabortion clients outside Whole Woman’s in the Parkside Building in Minneapolis, thecarolers sang traditional Christmas songs, which of course, often refer to God’s love. For 90 minutes, the pro-abortion escorts (at both entrances, bottom photo) alsoheard these carols. We prayed that they would stop participating in this evil.

“Hail Satan” Defacing UpdateIn the last newsletter we reported thata mechanic at Sears in Duluth hadwritten “Hail Satan” on the battery heinstalled in the van driven by SarahWinandy which displays beautifulphotos of unborn babies and pro-lifemessages. That employee has sincequit and the apologetic manager re-placed the battery for free. At Sarah’srequest, the Sears staff wrote “JesusChrist is King of Kings and Lord ofLords” on the new battery!

Pray for . . .

Listing AbortionistsA hallmark of our ministry has been

confronting the evil of abortion with thelove of Christ. This approach has includ-ed publicly identifying who the abortion-ists (and pro-abortion leaders) are. Thepractice of placing the names of abor-tionists in this newsletter has a twofoldpurpose: to ask for your heartfelt prayersfor the conversion of those listed and toinform you so that you are not patients of

Judith Johnson

Judith Johnson is an ob-gyn inDuluth, Minn. and is affiliated with mul-tiple hospitals in the area, includingEssentia Health-St.Mary's Medical Cen-ter and St. Luke's Hospital. She recentlysent a letter to her patients stating thatshe was leaving her practice at St.Luke’s to work full-time at the abortioncenter in the Building for Women begin-ning January 2018. She has been theChairperson of the Board for this “non-profit” abortion center, at least in 2013and 2014 according to tax records. Also, she helped write a paper on screening for“selected fetal disorders” so it is not sur-prising to learn that she has abortedbabies with anomalies at St. Luke’sHospital.

Please pray that Johnson would rec-ognize the dignity and value of everyhuman life, would leave the abortionindustry and turn her life over to Christ.

those committing abortions. The criteria for placing someone on

this list is that the individual is directlyinvolved in committing abortions andthat this has been reasonably verified. We have resoundingly condemned anysort of physical or psychological threatsto anyone involved in abortion. Ourdesire is for the love of God to permeatethe lives of those associated with abor-tion, that they will turn away from theharm they inflict and become followersof Christ as so many before them havedone. Is Your Doctor Involved in Abortions?

Does Your Doctor PrescribeAbortifacient Birth Control?

Ask your doctor if he/she does abor-tions or refers for them, or prescribesabortifacients such as the Pill, Ortho Evra(the “patch”), Depo-Provera (the “shot”),Nuva-Ring, the “morning-after pill,”implants, or the IUD. All these methods(and others) can cause very early abor-tions by thinning the lining of the uterusso that if breakthrough ovulation occurs(which is possible) and a new life is con-ceived, the young human being may notbe able to attach to the uterine lining andtherefore he or she dies. These methodscan also be very dangerous, even deadly,to the woman. If you live in Minnesotaand would like to go to a completely pro-life physician, we have a list of such doc-tors. CONSCIENCE PROTECTION The Trump administration has taken

action to protect the moral and religiousrights of conscience so that medical pro-fessionals, religious institutions andemployers may not be forced to partici-pate in abortion.

OTHER LEGISLATIVE INITIATIVES In advance of votes in the U.S. House

of Representatives on the No TaxpayerFunding for Abortion Act (H.R. 7) andthe Pain-Capable Unborn ChildProtection Act (H.R. 36), the WhiteHouse issued a statement affirming thatPresident Trump would sign the bills. (Asthis newsletter went to press) the Senatehas not yet taken action on these mea-sures.

Additionally, during his campaign forthe presidency, Trump expressed supportfor directing funding away from PlannedParenthood, the nation’s largest abortionprovider. In a September 2016 letter topro-life leaders, he noted that, “I am com-mitted to…defunding Planned Parent-hood as long as they continue to performabortions, and re-allocating their fundingto community health centers that providecomprehensive health care for women.”

(Thanks to the National Right to LifeCommittee for this list. Since this wascompiled, President Trump, surroundedby pro-lifers in the Rose Garden, spoke tothe March for Life in Washington via livevideo, and he declared January 22, 2018as National Sanctity of Human Life Day.He has also taken many other adminis-trative steps to advance recognition of theunborn in the policies and activities ofvarious federal agencies. And his De-partment of Justice has launched a for-mal investigation into Planned Parent-hood's illegal baby parts traffickingscheme.)
