EPSF 14th Annual Conference, Cairo, Egypt

One of the greatest Philosophers once said:I want to hear your

minds and feel your hearts, We heard 150 minds and felt 150

hearts in our EPSF (Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students Federation)

14th

Annual Conference, Those were the participants we had ..

The very warm hearted

atmosphere we had was

due to the large efforts

done by EPSF board,

organizers and different

Scientific Associations.

The two days conference had a lot of work and needed a lot of

preparations to get it out in this shape.

The first day had a scientific

program which consisted of 2

sessions:

Viral mutation of H1N1, itturned out that it's a big

actor and really can

change shapes just likeus..

Disaster Management and I dont mean earth quakes, its H1N1 guysFinally, the research

competition where some of

the youngest greatest minds

competed and raced against

each other (not by running

for sure)

The great end of the first day was in announcing the winners of the

competition who was ASSPSA (Ain Shams Scientific Pharmaceutical

Students Association) as a 1st

place, the 2nd

place was GUC-SPSA

(Scientific PharmaceuticalStudents Association) and

PAM (Pharmaceutical

Association of Must

University); Helwan-EPSF had

the 3rd

one.

The second dayhad our GA,OOPS, Its the GA in its new version, by

having 3 workshops parallel to each other that day and changing a

lot of things in the General Assembly was a first of its type in the

EPSF.

Professional Development Workshop: EPSF stars had aworkshop about different activities of the subcommittee, takingabout PPAC, Clinical Skills and a lot others lighten up the day.

Public Health Workshop:EPSF scientists had a

workshop about reporting

and how to deliver public

health message given by

Mohamed Ragab.

Presidential Workshop: or youcan say that is the Leaders of the

Leaders workshop, talked about

different topics and skills that

Presidents of Associations must

have, and given by Eslam Sayed

the EPSF President.

At the end of the Conference, we

had our GA, a lot of motions were

applied and changed and many

decisions were taken, isnt that

important to all of us!

At the end of all that,we have to thank all who had their hearts

and souls in to that event, to all the Associations that helped in

lifting the EPSF up to the sky, to all the board members and

organizers and members who gave their time and efforts just to

prove that pharmacy is truly our passion, to all the instructors

particularly, and finally to EPSF who made our lives full of joy :)
