1969-71 Superprojects: Objects Mo numen ts Cities This ch apter surveys SUPERSTUDIO'S most provocative period from 1969 to 1971. It was during these years that the grou p generated its most renowned body of work. After successfully formulizing a critique o n design, architecture and the city, the group produced a ~r od i~ io us et of conceptual projects through an innovative use of multi-media techniques, en~ ploy ing ollage, storyboard s and literary narrat ives. The professional officc continued its design activities, while entering into one of its most creatively engaged and controversially subversive periods. Almost all the conceptual production was intended for catalogues, architecture magazines and exhibitions.
