I give thanks to God for your work within and beyond these walls as you share God’s light and love. Please make note of the following worship services and plan to join us to celebrate this precious season. On Christmas Eve, December 24, we will have two worship services: one at 5:00 PM and one at 7:00 PM. The Family Service is at 5:00. With the help of the children, we will tell the Christmas story through a reenactment. All are invited to participate! The service will conclude with communion and candlelight. At 7:00 PM, the choir will be bringing us the Christmas message as they share the cantata “Morning Star” by Lloyd Larson. This service will also conclude with communion and candlelight. On Christmas Day, December 25, we will have one worship service at 11:00 AM. This will be a Lessons and Carols service, where we will read the scripture of the birth of Christ, sing our favorite carols together, and share special music. On New Year’s Day, January 1, we will be having two worship services: one at 8:45 AM, and one at 11:00 AM. What a wonderful and blessed way to greet the new year! My hope for all of you is that the Christ child be born again in your heart during this holy season. One of my favorite carols is the last stanza of “O Little Town of Bethlehem”: O holy child of Bethlehem, descend to us we pray, Cast out our sin and enter in, be born in us today. We hear the Christmas angels the great glad tidings tell: O come to us, abide with us, our Lord Emmanuel! Blessings, Karen
