Remove (4) Phillips screws securingthe radio. Unplug and remove radio.(Figure B)

Disconnect the negative battery ter-minal to prevent an accidental shortcircuit.

Unclip and remove the trim panelsfrom both sides of radio/climate con-trols. (Figure A)

Continue to kit assembly.

Open glove box and remove (5)Phillips screws ((3) on top and (2) onbottom) then remove entire glove box.

Disconnect air selector cable on dri-ver’s side of center console behinddash above accelerator pedal. (Figure A & B)

Remove (4) 10 MM bolts securingradio. Unplug and remove radio.(Figure E)

Disconnect temperature selectorcable on passenger side of centerconsole behind glove box. (Figure C)

Unsnap and remove entire panel sur-rounding radio. NOTE: The clips hold-ing radio panel to dash are verystrong. (Figure D)

Snap the Double DIN brackets to theoutside edge of the Double DIN trimplate. (Figure E)

NOTE: For the Chevrolet Aveo 2004-06 and Suzuki Verona 2004-07, cutand remove front lower mounting tabsfrom the Double DIN trim plate (FigureA). For the Suzuki Forenza 2004-07 andthe Suzuki Reno 2005-07, cut the rearlower mounting tabs (Figure B).

NOTE: The Verona 2004-2007 subdash will need to be trimmed slightlyfor proper fit. Refer to illustration.(Figure C,D)

Slide the Double DIN radio into thebracket/trim plate assembly andsecure the radio to the assemblyusing the screws supplied with theradio. (Figure F)

Continue to final assembly.

STACKED ISO MOUNT UNITS PROVISION*Note: Refer also to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio.

Snap the Double DIN brackets to theoutside edge of the Double DIN trimplate. (Figure E)

Slide the stacked ISO units into thebracket/trim plate assembly and securethe units to the assembly using thescrews supplied with the units.e(Figure F)

Continue to final assembly.

NOTE: The Verona 2004-2007 sub dashwill need to be trimmed slightly forproper fit. Refer to illustration. (Figure C,D)

Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown. (Isolate and individ-ually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.)

Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.

Reassemble radio and dash assemblies in reverse order of disassembly.

FINAL WIRING CONNECTIONS

Make wiring connections using the EIA color code chart shown below and the instructions included with thehead unit. Metra recommends making connections as shown below; Strip, Splice, Solder, Tape. Isolate and

individually tape off ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.
