She took flying

lessons from Neta

Snook.

Neta Snook

called her a

natural.

Amelia liked to fly

between wires that

were only eight

feet apart!

She set her first record

flying to a height of 14,000

feet.

She set the record in her

first plane that she got

from her parents and sister. Amelia Earhart’s first

Atlantic Ocean.

She was the fastest

to cross the Atlantic
