A Bird’s Eye View of GodFaithfulness in Everyday Life

God's work is perfect as a whole because it is perfect in every part, however minute. He fashions the tiny spear of grass with as much care as He would exercise in making a world. If we desire to be perfect, even as our Father in heaven is perfect, we must be faithful in doing little things. That which is worth doing at all is worth doing well. Whatever your work may be, do it faithfully. Speak the truth in regard to the smallest matters. Each day do loving deeds and speak cheerful words. Scatter smiles along the pathway of life. As you work in this way, God will place His approval on you, and Christ will one day say to you, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." {MYP 144.3}

How do we approach God? When I start my prayer the first thing in the morning I say, MY FATHER. I recognize that I have been adopted into the family of God. When I say, My Father, I stop, I visualize my Father on the throne. I try to comprehend the glory that surrounds Him. I see millions of angels around the throne with their heads bowed low saying, holy, holy, holy. I hear the angelic choir singing praises to His holy name – and when I say, my Father, He bends his ear to hear what I have to say. I actually have His attention. How awesome it is that I, a sinner can talk to Him and He listens and He recognizes me as His child, his son.

If He is so exact and careful in making a leaf of grass and was so exact in His creation of humans, even though they have gone astray, His love and concern has not diminished one iota. What a heart of understanding and compassion He has for us. That is my God, my Father. I can talk to Him. I can tell him all that is on my heart. Although everything about me is tainted with sin and perverted with selfishness, He still listens and has interest in me. That is awesome. Although I am deplorable in every since of the word He still wants to refashion me that someday I might be in His presence.

There is one thing that we must remember and that is we as sinners have nothing that is desirable to fit into heaven, nothing. There is nothing about us that we can take with us, as sinners that could fit in heaven. Every part of us is contaminated with sin. We just don’t fit into a perfect heaven. Thus the only thing that we can take to heaven with us is our character and that has to

changed drastically. This is why it is so important for us to understand to have forgiveness only is not enough to enter heaven. Forgiveness only, does not change our character. Revival and reformation are absolutely essential. Repentance and sorrow for sin has to be in vogue. If there is real repentance and sorrow for sin then it will be forsaken. Thus the only characteristics that will be admitted into heaven will be the characteristics of Jesus. They are to become a part of us as we choose to overcome sin and use Jesus as our divine pattern. Then by His grace we are covered by His righteousness. Thus when the Father looks at us He really doesn’t see our deplorable condition as sinners, but He sees the righteousness of His Son that covers us. Thank God for the righteousness of Jesus! Without it we are all dead men.

How awesome it is to think that a sinner would have such boldness to come into the presence of the Holy Father through prayer. Yet in Hebrews 10 we are told to come boldly, by faith into the Holiest, the inner sanctum of the heavenly Sanctuary, believing that He hears us. How humbly we should come. What an exercise of faith just to be there, let alone to speak. What a privilege.

Now when we come, don’t just come with the gimmies, saying give me this and give me that. Praise His holy name as He is the Creator of the entire Universe. Thank Him for salvation, thank Him for sending Jesus. Thank Him for saving your soul. Ask Him to help you to be a good witness in winning others and being a good example that others can follow. Pray for someone outside of Jesus that you know and as you do, try to visualize what that person would look like, glorified, in the kingdom of heaven and then try to make that scene a reality by the way you treat and communicate to that person. Then also ask your Father to help you in the development of all your characteristics. That is one prayer that He will answer, no question.

Please God……. Bless us…….. every one.

My Statement of Faith

I have confidence in the statement of the apostle Paul who said, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”By faith I believe in a specific creation of the world at a certain time. I believe in a God that made the world out of nothing. I believe in this God as in His word He has given hundreds of predictions that have come true, some to the exact day and some to the season of the year. These all give me confidence in such a God.

I cannot prove in such a creation. I accept it by faith. One of such belief of evolution also has no proof, even of the big bang, that his hypotheses is correct. He has to accept it by faith. His faith is anchored in a theory of a poor sinful man who thinks his ideas are better than the God who actually came down to this earth and proclaimed his Law audibly at Mount Sinai.

My faith embraces a hereafter. The faith of the evolutionist has no hereafter. Why should one give up everything to embrace a theory that gives you nothing?
