Lakshya 2K15 @ LBRCE: Celebrating the Idea of Technical education & innovation LBRCE conducted LAKSHYA 2K15- the 10th

National Level Student’s Technical Symposium on 19th Sept’15. Sri. K.R.S.R.Krishna,Vice President, Chennai operations, Petrofac inaugurated this multi-event techno-cultural Symposium. Hundreds of students from various Engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh and other states participated in events like Paper presentation, Poster presentation, Model exhibition, Technical quiz as well as Special events such as Cruize, Creative minds, Coding war contest, Robotic & R/C competition, Art exhibition, Spot photography and Short film making in an action-packed day .

Teachers Day Celebrations @LBRCE: All for a noble cause… Teachers Day was celebrated under the aegis of the Faculty club on 5th Sept’15. Rich tributes were paid to Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan on his 128th Birthday. Dr.E.V.Prasad,the Director presented Best Teacher Awards to some faculty in recognition of their meritorious service to teaching.

Workshop on “Generator Excitation Systems and Digital Voltage Regulators”: Leveraging Real time trends in Technology

The Dept. of Electrical & Electronics Engineering organized a One-Day workshop on “Generator Excitation Systems and Digital Voltage Regulators” for Third & Final year EEE students on 7th Sept’15. Er.B.Raju, Asst.Divisional Engineer, MRT/KTPS, C Station, Palvancha was the Resource person for the Programme.



Workshop on “Non Destructive Testing Technologies”-An Industry readiness initiative… The Dept. of Mechanical Engineering organized a One-Day workshop on “Non Destructive Testing Technologies” on 9th Sept’15 for its students. Sri.B.Srinivas, Manger, Operations, Kalwa Institute of N.D.T and Quality Management,Hyderabad was the Resource person for the programme.

Engineers Day Celebrations @ LBRCE: Saluting the Spirit of Engineering Engineers Day was celebrated in traditional gaiety & fervor on 15th Sept’15. Dr.E.V.Prasad,the Director while recalling the yeoman services of of Sir Mokshagundem Viswasweraya exhorted budding Engineers to strive for excellence in their chosen fields. Various programmes were conducted by the NSS Unit, Civil, ME Dept. Associations & IEEE Student Chapter to mark the occasion.

Workshop on “Ethical and Moral Values in Business Operation: Building an ecosystem of values The School of Management Studies organized a One-Day Workshop on “Ethical and Moral Values in Business Operation” for its students on 24th Sept’15. Sri.K.Vijaykumar, Retired Judge, Myalavaram was the Resource person for the Programme.

Workshop on “Advanced Nano Electronics in Engineering and Technology”: Learning the Future trends in Technology The Dept. of Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering organized a Two-Day Workshop on “Advanced Nano Electronics in Engineering and Technology” during 25th-26th Sept’15. Dr.Nithin, IIT Bombay and Dr. Rama Komaragiri, NIT Calicut were the Resource persons for the programme.



TCS Workshop on “Employability skills and Technology Trends” : Industry-Academia Interface at its Best As a part of the campus outreach initiative by TCS, a One-Day Workshop on “Employability skills and Technology Trends” was conducted for Final Year B.Tech & MCA students on 26th Sept’15.Mr.M.S.Subramanyam,Senior consultant, TCS was the resource person for the programme.

MTAcertification programme: Leveraging Technologies for the Future A One-Week Microsoft Technology Associates (MTA) certification programme was conducted by the Microsoft Innovation Center for Third Year B.Tech & MCA students during the period,i.e,26thSept-5thOct’15, in association with Microsoft partner, DevmenIT .

Workshop on “Safe Driving”: All for a Safer Life Our college, in association with Varun Maruthi Driving School, Vijayawada conducted a One-Day Workshop on “Safe Driving” for college Drivers on 28th Sept’15. While inaugurating the event, Dr.E.V.Prasad,the Director underscored the need for following stringent safety standards in Driving.
