Sambasiva Rao: “ Information Literacy Skills and Web search Patterns in Digital Library by the faculty members of Autonomous Engineering College Libraries : A Survey’’ in the National Conference on “Management of e – Resources and Institutional Repositories" (NACMEIR2014) organized by IGM Library , University of Hyderabad , Hyderabad on 14th & 15th Nov.’14.

LBRCE Management & Staff made a contribution to the Chief Minister’s relief fund towards the rehabilitation of Hudhud Cyclone victims on 1st Nov.’14, which was presented by Sri. G. Srinivasa Reddy, President, LBRCE to Sri.Uma Maheswara Rao, minister for major Irrigation. The faculty contributed a day’s salary towards this.

Annual Alumni meeting conducted on 22nd Nov. with 200 old students participating.

1. Organized an ALUMNI meet on 8th Nov.’14.

2. Seminar: “Neplan and Bluesol Software” by Sri. Ch. Phani Kumar, Application Engineer, Sun Vision Technologies, Hyderabad on 17th Nov.’14.

3. A one -week FDP Program: “Research Tools in Electrical Engineering” from 20th to 25th Nov.’14 with the objective to improve quality of teaching and research. The program was specifically designed to give hands on experience on software tools like PSCAD,ETAP,LABVIEW,MEMS,FPGA,PIC About 100 (20 external and 80 internal) candidates participated in the programme.

4. IUCEE Webinar: “Necessity of OBE in professional college and assessment of program outcome in OBE” by Dr. G. Shobha, RV college of Engineering, 03:30 PM- 04:30 PM, 18th Nov.

1. Conducted Alumni meet on 22nd Nov.’14 with old students from 2002 to 2014 passed out batches attending the meet. Later, around 25 alumni working in companies like Hundai, HAL, ONGC, TCS, L&T, and Satyam Ventures interacted with 1st year students.
