INTRODUCTORY RITES ENTRANCE MUSIC His Peace He Gives To Us His peace he gives to us. His peace he leaves with us. Not for us alone, But that we might give it again, To all. The man who looks for God in the depth of his heart Will find a hidden quiet That nothing can disturb or take away. The man who sees his life as an open door Through which all men might come to receive and give again Will know true peace. The man whose joy it is to discover the world And meet the eyes of God in the beauty that is his Will sing of peace. The man who knows that God has prepared him a home For all eternity To rejoice and to be free Will have true peace. GREETING SPRINKLING WITH HOLY WATER LIGHTING OF THE PASCHAL CANDLE Jacinta Stewart

PLACING OF THE PALL Robert & Fiona Stewart WORDS OF REMEMBRANCE Alistair Stewart, Fiona Stewart & Jack Grundy OPENING PRAYER LITURGY OF THE WORD READING (Ecclesiastes 3: 1-11) Jacinta Stewart A reading from the book of Ecclesiastes. For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. God has made everything beautiful in its time. The Word of the Lord. A. – Thanks be to God.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM A Trusting Psalm (Psalm 33) Andy Stewart A. – Lord let your mercy be on us as we place our trust in you. R. – The word of the Lord is faithfulness and love. His love can never be measured. His beauty is like nothing we have ever seen, so let us place our trust in him. A. – Lord let your mercy be on us as we place our trust in you. R. – The word of the Lord means a patient, gentle God. His love can never grow weary. His mercy is as though our sins have never been, if we can place our trust in him. A. – Lord let your mercy be on us as we place our trust in you. R. – The word of the Lord is fire burning strong. His love can never grow weary. He will seek and save the lost until we all return, so let us place our trust in him. A. – Lord let your mercy be on us as we place our trust in you. ACCLAMATION (John 14: 1-6) A. – Alleluia, alleluia. I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No

one can come to the Father except through me. Alleluia.

GOSPEL (Matthew 6: 25-27) C. – The Lord be with you. A. – And with your spirit. C. – A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew. A. – Glory to you, O Lord. "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life?” The Gospel of the Lord. A. – Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ. HOMILY PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL Therese, Catherine, Fiona & Lucy C. – For our sister Maureen, let us pray to our Lord Jesus Christ,

who said: “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me shall live even in death and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.”

Therese Lord, we pray for all here gathered today and for all those who cannot be with us. We also pray for everyone at Sacred Heart Mission and for those at the Parish who were dear to Maurna’s heart.

Lord hear us. A. – Lord, hear our prayer.

Catherine Lord, we celebrate the joy in Maurna’s life and pray for all the dear departed: particularly her husband Ian, parents Elvie and Joe, cousin Aileen, granddaughter Lilly and her Uncle Jack. May they rest in peace.

Lord hear us. A. – Lord, hear our prayer.

Fiona Lord we pray for those who grieve Maurna’s death. Comfort them in their sorrow.

Lord hear us. A. – Lord, hear our prayer.

Lucy Lord, we pray for those who have recently looked after Maurna, especially the staff at Bonbeach Japara who could not have shown her more consideration and kindness.

Lord hear us. A. – Lord, hear our prayer.

C. – God, our shelter and our strength, you listen to the cry of your people: hear the prayers we offer for our departed brothers and sisters. Cleanse them of their sins and grant them the fullness of redemption. We ask you this through Christ Our Lord.

A. – Amen. LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST OFFERTORY PROCESSION River, Lachie, Jack & Luke OFFERTORY MUSIC “Four Winds” PREPARATION OF OFFERINGS PRAYER OVER THE OFFERINGS PREFACE C. – The Lord be with you. A. – And with your spirit. C. – Lift up your hearts. A. – We lift them up to the Lord. C. – Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. A. – It is right and just. C. – It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always

and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, through Christ our Lord.

In Him the hope of blessed resurrection has dawned, that those saddened by the certainty of dying might be consoled by the promise of immortality to come. Indeed for your faithful, Lord, life is changed not ended, and when this earthly dwelling turns to dust, an eternal dwelling is made ready for them in heaven.

And so, with Angels and Archangels, with Thrones and

Dominions, and with all the hosts and Powers of heaven, we sing the hymn of your glory, as without end we acclaim:

A. – Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts.

Heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

EUCHARISTIC PRAYER II COMMUNION RITE THE LORD’S PRAYER SIGN OF PEACE BREAKING OF BREAD COMMUNION C. – Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the

sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.

A. – Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my

roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

COMMUNION MUSIC “It’s a Dream” PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION FINAL COMMENDATION SONG OF FAREWELL C. – Saints of God, come to her aid! Hasten to meet her, angels of

the Lord. A. – Receive her soul and present her to God the Most High. C. – May Christ, who called you, take you to himself; may angels

lead you to the bosom of Abraham. A. – Receive her soul and present her to God the Most High. C. – Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light

shine upon her. A. – Receive her soul and present her to God the Most High. PRAYER OF COMMENDATION RECESSIONAL MUSIC “The Way”
