Thus, it is necessary for all authorities and political parties to know their responsibility in making planning and decision making processes.

We have been carrying out our business activities with an ultimate manifesto aim "From Cradle to Cradle". PENTAS FLORA is a Scheduled Waste Management company under the wings of Exsim Group of Companies, one of the nation’s increasingly prominent property developer. As an innovative Scheduled Waste Management company, PENTAS FLORA started off with the passion and persistency of molding a better environmental solution mechanism which would maximise resource value and minimise environmental impacts.

With the constant rise of environmental issues due to impacts caused by hazardous waste, PENTAS FLORA begun operations to subdue these alarming and unhealthy effects by providing alternative solutions to manage waste. Its parent company, Exsim, champions a similar goal in all its development

projects by ensuring sustainability efforts in delivering green features and environmentally- friendly buildings.

Despite facing strenuous and tough challenges to operate a business which is mechanical in its nature, our management team emerged successfully by consistently delivering steady and reliable solutions. This was achieved by not only providing reliable solutions and services but also by upholding the key principals that the entire team advocates, which is to do in the best of our ability to keep our environment healthy and pollution free.

OUR STORY OUR OPERATION PLACELocated in a well-known agricultural hub, our main factory is set in Banting, Malaysia, a principal town in the district of Kuala Langat, Selangor. Within the radius of 18km from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and situated in a safe and secure industrial area, PENTAS FLORA was built in accordance to the Department of Environmental (DOE) standards and requirements for safety and prevention of pollution.

Significant for its agronomic culture and green surroundings, we are privileged to run our business in such a pleasant environment to pursuit our mission in championing environmental issues. On the same note, comprehending the importance of operating responsibly is equally important for us hence; our business model is crafted to emphasis on minimised wastage and maximised recovery.

The process in basic terms involve recovery, recycle and reuse of which all three encompasses specific procedures comprising treatments and innovative refinery technology that takes place in our factory. These processes coupled with our Research and Development department enables us to provide a comprehensive source for consultancy at our headquarters to educate the public at large.

As a result, our headquarters and operational factory situated strategically in Banting’s industrial area, is a true source of pride as it presents a wholesome educational and practical offering in regards to environmental outreach.

What is scheduled wastes?As defined in the Environmental Quality Act 1974, scheduled wastes is understood as, “Any matter prescribed to be scheduled wastes or any matter whether in solid, semi-solid or liquid form, or in the form of gas or vapour which is emitted, discharged or deposited in the environment or manner as to cause pollution”
