Tudy & Jake Jacobson and Dennis & Kathy Inman are manning a booth at the

Chapter Fair of the FMCA Convention in Tuscan, AZ, March 26 thru March 29 to

promote TCI. Tudy has free one day passes to the convention. If you are part of the

TCI FMCA Chapter and are in the area think about going to the convention and or

helping to man our TCI booth. Online registration ends March 17th so please con-

tact Tudy or Dennis for more info.

Enjoy your summer travels, stay safe and we will see you in Nebraska City Septem-

ber 24 thru September 30 for the 2020 International Rally. I don’t know how many

of you are Air Force Veterans but the Strategic Air Command Museum is a must see

if you are an Air Force Vet! There are lots of things to see in the Nebraska City /

Omaha area, and of course there will be lots of food to keep all of us Tetoners hap-

py. Contact Laura & Ervin Schrock for more info.

I heard from Glenn Donaldson, who worked for Teton Homes and attended the OKC rally with his wife

Kathy, they purchased an RV and plan to be at the Nebraska City Rally. Now I know you want to know if

they bought a TETON well you will have to come to the rally to find out!

Do You Have Friends or Family that Enjoy RVing? If so, consider asking them to join our Family of Friends

I t may be hard to believe that TCI has been in existence for 30 years. Even though Teton Homes

closed in 2008, our club has lasted because we live up to the motto “A Family of Friends”. Since Te-

tons are no longer made, we needed to make changes in our bylaws to keep our club going. The lat-

est bylaw change was voted into effect December 2019 which allows our existing members to recom-

mend/sponsor friends or family, that own an RV, to join TCI no matter what brand it is.

If you know someone that would enjoy being a member of TCI, please ask them to fill out the application

at Tetoners.org or give them an application to mail in. Please send me an email at tciweb-

[email protected] to let me know the name of the people you are recommending/sponsoring and ask

them to include your name on the application on the “Introduced by” line.

Also if you are not already a member of our East and/or West Regions, please consider joining one or

both regions. Application for regions are included in this newsletter.

History and Fun in the Verde Valley of Arizona

Hello fellow Tetoners!

We are looking forward to hosting you at our rally April 16-22 in the Verde Valley of Arizona. Some of you have asked about the cabins at Zane Grey RV Village. I have reserved two of the non-loft cabins for the rally.

Here is what the website says about them: Each cabin for rent is fully-furnished with everything you need to stay a night, a week, or a month! Cab-ins include full kitchens, a bathroom, private bedroom, comfortable living area, and HD satellite TV! Enjoy the beauty of the outdoors on the spacious covered porch with stone gas fireplace and outdoor furniture and pro-pane grill.

And here are some pictures.

And there are more on this website: https://www.zanegreyrv.com/cabins/

Since April is considered high season, the manager of Zane Grey has asked me to urge all Tetoners to make their reservations (camping or cabin) as soon as possible, but no later than March 1st. At that point I will need to release any unspoken-for sites.

If you have any questions, please call Theresa at 610-910-4033 or Roy at 610-910-4132.

Directions: Do Not Use GPS From southbound I-17 take exit 287. Drive 8.5 miles east on AZ- 260. Look for mile post 227, then go 1/4 mile farther. Look for the park on the left side of the road. From northbound I-17 take exit 285. Turn right onto

General Crook Trail (AZ-260) and go about 7 miles. Look for mile post 227, then go 1/4 mile farther. Look for the park on the left side of the road.

Early arrivals/late stays welcome, just contact the

campground.

2020 East Regional Rally

May 11th -16th , 2020

H i Tetoners,

It’s January and the East Regional rally is just 4 months away. We have lots of exciting things

planned and we would like to showcase some of them over the next few months.

A trip to Hickory Corners, the home of the 90 acre Gilmore Car Museum is one of our planned attractions.

Walk right up to automotive history at the Gilmore. There are nearly 400 vehicles and a wide range of

brands and models from Model As to Cadillacs, Pierce Arrows to Duesenbergs, Studebakers t o Chevrolet

and more. There are also exhibits that capture the best of each automotive era; cars from the Nickel and

Brass eras to the Classics and Post War, plus favorites from the ‘50s and ‘60s.

During our visit there will be a special exhibit “Women Who Motor” offering a glimpse into women and the

automobile.

One of many of the permanent exhibits is “A Century of Motorcycles”. The museum features rare exam-

ples of bikes from the past including a 1947 Indian Chief, a rare 1910 Cleveland and the 1952 Triumph

TrophyTRS ridden by the famous Fonz from the TV show Happy Days..

Below is the registration for the May 11th Rally in Hastings Mi .Hope to see you there.

Any questions about the rally please email [email protected] or [email protected] or

call 269-838-6057 or 269-795-9658.

W e are hosting our rally in Nebraska City, NE. The area is an older area.it still gives the older town

feeling.

The town has 11 museums in it.

There are several small restaurants in town too. We’re only about 45 minutes from Omaha or Lincoln.

We are planning to do something every day. But also give you plenty of time to explore on your own.

The campground is clean and nicely run. Here are a couple of pics of the grounds. The have a grilling

area even that we will be able to use.

Hoping to see you all there!!

Editorial Philosophy

W e are a Family of Friends, dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of our Teton or Continental Coach RVs and the camaraderie of our members. Reflecting this, the newsletter is looking for positive and upbeat articles that we would be proud to share with everyone, including our chil-

dren. There will be no profanity or “off-color” articles in the newsletter: anything that needs to be said can be said in an adult manner. While we encourage technical articles that point out problems and offer solutions, we will not print negative articles that directly attack TCI, its Members, or Forks RV.

The newsletter doesn’t accept advertising but will print notices of sale for a club member's Teton trailer and/or tow vehicle. Following TCI Board guidelines: sale notices will be brief, including member name, and TCI number; vehicle/trailer make, model and age; a few descriptive words; and the member’s phone number and/or address.
