Deacon & Church Conference MeetingsDeacon meeting Sun., Nov. 11th and church conference Sun., Nov. 18th. Both following the evening worship service.

Evangelistic Training ClassIf you would like to learn more about sharing your faith with others. A 4 week class begins Sun., Nov. 4th to help participants better understand how to share their faith with those who do not know Jesus as their Savior. A special class this afternoon at 4:45pm will be available for those working at the Fall Festival.

MOVE 2012 (December 28th-29th)Our students will be participating in Move Conference on Dec.28th-29th. We will leave FBC on Fri., Dec. 28th at 10:00 a.m. We will return between 8:00-10:00p.m. on Sat. night. The cost is $80/student. The bands leading in worship will be Kutless, Jamie Grace, Brandon Heath, Matt Papa, & Flame. The speakers will be Ben Glenn, JD Greear, & Clayton King. Deadline for signing up is Nov.28th.

Youth MacWe have two Youth MAC’s coming up. A Youth Mac on Nov. 18th in the youth room immediately following the evening service. Our special guests will be the youth choir from Eastman. Dinner (Pizza) will be provided! Also a Youth Mac on Sun. night, Dec. 2nd immediately following the evening service at the Ernst home. The address is 39 Farmer Rd. We will be cooking hotdogs and s’mores over the fire!!!

Children’s ChoirOur Children’s Choir will resume on Sun., Nov. 4th, to prepare their Christmas music.  These singers grades 1st-5th will meet with Amy Moore at 5:00 in CW 101.

Young at Heart LuncheonY@H Luncheon Tues., Nov. 6th at 12 noon. Invite friends to join us for a message, fellowship, & a wonderful selection of home-cooked dishes provided by the Y@H members.

Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas ChildThe children in AWANA are “getting wrapped up in shoe boxes” for this Christmas season. The AWANA program encourages others from FBC to join in gathering items & creating a shoebox for a child this Christmas. The shoeboxes will be collected here at FBC (see one of the AWANA leaders) and the deadline is Wed., Nov. 14th. The cost of postage is $7 make check payable to Samaritan’s Purse or you may pay online (at http://www.samaritanspurse.org/occ; select follow your box), print a confirmation page with barcode, & track your shoebox’s journey & final destination.
