A Note from the Director
“Guys & Dolls” is the kind of musical that I can’t resist. First of all, it’s funny. And then there are all of those glorious songs. The performers can have so much fun bringing these characters to life.
Damon Runyon’s characters probably don’t exist today - if they ever did, but the Tony-winning “Guys & Dolls” will always be around to remind us of a specific time and place in our history.
The early 1950’s is becoming a just a memory to more and more of us. Let’s spend an evening there - one more time. Thanks for coming this evening. I hope you enjoy your time with us as much as we have bringing it to you. The guy’s only doing it for some doll....and he always will be.
There will be a 15-minute intermission between acts. Smoking is notpermitted in the theater or barn except when designated by the director. No photography or video taping is permitted during the performance.Out of courtesy to the cast and audience, please turn off all communicationdevices.
