In 1900, the park began acquiring animals to exhibit, and by 1901 its collection exceeded 200 animals, including mammals, birds and reptiles. Since then, the Virginia Zoo has been a pillar of education and recreation in the Hampton Roads Community. The Virginia Zoo and our community partners will celebrate the magnitude of 115 years throughout 2016. LOCATIONThis creative black tie event will be held in the unique setting of the Virginia Zoo, located at 3500 Granby Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23504.
