W illingtown is a small village in the countryside of western England inhabited by hard working farmers, crafters and merchants. The little village is well known for hosting one of the finest Market faires in all of England each year to celebrate the

harvest. The small town is buzzing with excitement as they prepare to welcome Her Royal Majesty, Queen Elizabeth. Affectionately known as Elizabeth Gloriana, she is scheduled to make an appearance at today’s festivities. She is known to favor the talented crafters and brewers found in this lively village. Entertainers from throughout Europe fill the streets and stages with traditional music, dance and comedy. Hearty food and drink, unique handcrafted wares and romantic revelry await those who come to play.

WORLD TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONSThe World Tournament of Champions presents jousting and armed combat in all its glory. Enjoy the Tournament of Games at 12:00 and watch the knights vie for Her Majesty’s favor at 3:00 in a full combat joust.

RICHARD III – A NEW MUSICAL COMEDY BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEAREThe Willingtown players are sent a script by way of the mischievous Earl of Oxford and instructed to prepare a festive command performance for the Queen. How would simple country folk know that The Bard’s latest work was not meant to be this funny? On the Royal Garden Stage.

THE QUEEN’S ROYAL RECEPTIONThe village dignitaries have been planning for Her Majesty’s arrival to celebrate their 15th Season hosting the annual Harvest Faire. The Queen’s courtiers are busy competing for her favor while the Earl of Oxford tries to Push the Queen towards another agenda. The Queen’s procession lands at 1:00 on the Main Royal Garden Stage.

MANLY MEN IN TIGHTS The Final Season! This is the last chance to see this classic long running favorite. Laughter, Steel and Sex Appeal! You won’t want to miss this silly, swashbuckling, testosterone-fueled romp, where the audience gets into the act, and the laughs are non-stop! On the Main Royal Garden Stage.

THE HARVEST CELEBRATIONStill waiting on a new Mayor, the villagers prepare for the Queen’s arrival to celebrate the 15th season of the Harvest Faire in Wllingtown. An upstart Poet by the name of Will Shakespeare has arrived offering help but finds himself distracted by the local beauties. 12:00 on the Royal Garden Stage.

DIRTY LAUNDRY Wet dirty women and good clean fun is what this show is all about. These hilarious wenches will teach the unsuspecting a thing or two about cleaning up their acts and how to dish dirt with the best of them. Three times daily on the Amethyst Arbor Stage.

BROONWith a wit drier than the Sahara, Broon will leave you giggling throughout the day. Broon doesn’t eat fire to impress the crowds, he just likes the taste of the kerosene. On the Romany Camp Stage.

THE MERMAID TAVERN NCThe sexiest splash in Willingtown. The Naughty and Notorious women of The Mermaid Tavern will steal your heart and maybe your wallet with songs and laughter over on the Dock side of town. Salty Siren Stage (21 and over).

NO PARCHMENT NEEDED NC This troupe of traveling actors have arrived all set to perform, but they have forgotten one important ingredient: their scripts! A FAIRY’S TALE Bring the wee ones to sit with Willingtown’s own Fairy Godmother as she spins tales of magic and wonder. Especially for children but big kids are welcome too. On the Storybook Stage.

EQUINE SHOWThe Royal Equine Guild presents their fine collection of beautiful Gypsy horses and other visiting breeds that have been gathered from across the land to present to Her Majesty the Queen. Watch these talented equestrians prior to each joust, at 11:45 and 2:45.

SHELLY THE FIDDLER Shelly Crouse Monarez, the village fiddler, loves to teach aspiring musicians as well as play. Enjoy her vibrant sets on the Coughing Sheep Stage and around the village.

BARLEY BANE NCWhat do you get when three Irish outlaws and a Spanish gigolo walk into a bar? Barley Bane! Join these notorious ne’er do wells as they sing about ale and adventures. The Salty Siren Stage on the Dockside for adults 21 and over.

Featured Artisan: Stuart AbelmanDaily Glassblowing Demonstration at the Glass Blowers StageStuart uses his own formulas and the finest silica sand to ensure the purest quality glass possible. Each piece is made entirely of hot molten glass and is worked and completed at the furnace. All the colors and design patterns are formed from the hot glass. No paint is used. Many of the beautiful colors are made with gold, silver and other precious metals.

Stuart has journeyed through so many new frontiers in the American hand blown art glass studio movement including extensive commission work for the movie and entertainment industry and was once heard to say, “I have been working with hot glass for over thirty-five years and I am certain it runs through my veins.”
