"I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD"
Psalm 122:1
It is the special delight of everyone who loves God to go into the house of the LORD to worship Him. When the day of worship comes, they love to be where God's people are gathered together. Their hearts rejoice when others tell them it is time to go to the house of the LORD.
The psalmist tells us that when he was invited by others to go to the house of the LORD, he was glad. Obviously, he was eagerly waiting to go to the place where they worshipped God. So he accepted the invitation joyfully.
A child of God is unlike those who rejoice in going to the house of wickedness. He does not rejoice in worldly pleasures. He is not charmed by the sound of worldly music. He detests their unwholesome speech. He dreads the sounds and sights of the houses of sin.
He would rather be in the presence of the LORD and His people. His heart yearns to join the people of God in singing hymns of praise, in praying, in hearing the Word of God and in serving the LORD.
May our hearts find joy in the house of the LORD! May our excitement to be in the house of the LORD inspire others! Let us cheerfully encourage one another to gather together to worship the LORD in His house.

The Bible Witness media ministry has been very close to my heart. It has ministered to my family since the day we came to know it. Let me count our blessings...
Bible Witness lunchtime Bible study has been a place of refuge during the most difficult 8 months in my working life. For the whole 8 months, week after week, I came to the Bible study in terrible shape after being "beaten up" in the office. God, through Dn Paul Cheng, ministered to me with his Word, restored and uplifted me, and then sent me back to the office for more "bashing"!! :)
The scripture in song DVD was where my daughter picked up her very first memory verse. This is how she came to know Cornelius.
Children’s Christmas musical DVD was my daughter's 1st experience of the nativity play. This is also how she came to know Pastor Koshy.
Fanny Crosby musical DVD was where Priscilla was first introduced to the blind hymnwriter who turned out to be auntie Flora in her role as Fanny Crosby.
The story of Jonathan Goforth in Bible Witness magazine was where my daughter learnt about giving to missions. This is the first ministry that she gave her ang pau money to.
at the Bible Witness Retreat children’s programme, Priscilla learnt 10 names of God in hebrew and she can still recite them today. This is how she came to know auntie Carolyn.
Being a stay-at-home mum can be very lonely at times. It is not easy to attend fellowship groups while taking care of a young child. But through the Bible Witness Web Radio, my wife can listen to godly sermons and hymns at any time of the day. It is a huge source of comfort and encouragement for her.
There are just too many blessings that I cannot list them all here. some are too personal to share, others may seem trivial but God knows their profound impact in our Christian walk. Thank God for Bible Witness and all the labourers behind the scene. may the Lord bless you all richly.

Pastoral Exhortation
Dear Pastor Koshy,
Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
The Lord is truly and greatly to be praised for His goodness and faithfulness upon TGCM, Cebu. The Lord has seen TGCM, Cebu through for 2 years. All glory and honour be unto the Lord for His grace that has enabled us to serve in the ministry. I praise and thank the Lord for the untiring support of the mother church and TGCM, Singapore.
Last Saturday, we had our 2nd Anniversary Thanksgiving Service. It was indeed a great time of rejoicing in God's goodness and faithfulness. I praise the Lord that you had joined us in our rejoicing through the presence of Bro Jeremiah, Bro Sangkar and Bro Johnny. The service was well attended with brethren from Cebu church, former residents together with loved ones and friends. We gave all the glory and honour to God through the presentation of songs, testimonies, singing of hymns and preaching of God's Word. "My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever" (Psalm 145:21).
TGCM, Cebu will continue to be a "Gospel home for the weary and heavy laden" so that those who come into the gates of TGCM, Cebu would know the One and only Saviour Jesus Christ.
Sincerely in Christ, Bro Eliezer Ortega

Dear children, we have learned in our previous devotion that God created a firmament and called it heaven, on the second day of history. This “heaven” is the beautiful blue sky where we can see the birds flying. In today’s devotion, we will be learning more of God’s creative works on the third day – he created the dry land and called it earth, and then he commanded the earth to produce grass, the herb yielding seed and the fruit tree.
The Bible teaches us that after God had divided the waters from the blue sky he created, he gathered the waters under it to one place, and called it seas. at the same time, he caused the dry land to appear, and called it earth. Thus, God made the seas and the earth.
my young readers, if you have been to the seaside before, you might have noticed that you cannot see the end of the sea; it is just water, water and more water all the way out there. Though you cannot see where the water of the sea ends, you can see the shoreline. It is nice to be by the seaside where you can pick colourful seashells, build sandcastles
and even run on the sand. Therefore, the next time when you are playing at the seaside, remember to give thanks to God who made the seas and the earth.
secondly, God commanded the earth to produce grass, herb yielding seed and the fruit tree. One important truth to learn from these creations of God is that they only reproduce their own kind. In other words, the grass cannot reproduce the herb nor the fruit tree. each creation can only reproduce its own kind. For example, an orchid plant cannot reproduce a hibiscus plant but only an orchid plant. Only durian and not rambutan can come forth from a durian tree. how amazing is the creative work of God!
Let us remember to thank God for his wonderful creations. Whenever you run on the green grass in school or play ball on it; or whenever you eat
rambutan or durian or any other kind of fruit, do not forget that it was God who made all these for your enjoyment! Praise God for
the things he had made for you on the third day of history.
The Third Dayby Pr Kelvin Lim
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: ...And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so… And the evening and the morning were the third day. Genesis 1:9-13
