From Your Pastor…
Dear Family of North Anderson Baptist Church,
Lynda and I want to thank you for all of the years we have spent with you and we are
grateful to all the gifts and thoughts shared with us. I want to particularly say a great big
thank you to the classes and individuals who purchased Gideon Bibles “In Honor” or the
“Thinking of You” kind. We are humbled to have you send those in our behalf. The
thoughts and prayers you have shared with us and given unto the Lord God will forever
make a difference in our lives. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Christmas is such a wonderful time not only for the children of God but for our country
as a whole. The celebration reminds us all of the coming of the precious Son of God so
that He might introduce the love of God to His creation and save us from our sins, giv-
ing us hope for the eternal life we can spend with Him.
I cherish the opportunity to serve in a church that cares enough for the community to
present the story of our Savior and Lord’s life, death and resurrection with those who
choose to come through the Drive Thru Nativity. My heart is thrilled to offer, to this
same community, the wonderful experience of the Christmas Eve Service. Our prayer is
that the church family will not only participate but worship through each glorious oppor-
tunity to express the Gospel to love God more and walk closer to Him. Our God is faith-
ful to save all who will seek Him. of the Lord Jesus Christ to anyone who may not know
Jesus personally and to encourage the believer Pray for that to happen in the lives of
those who participate in both these presentations for Jesus.
With all our Love Lynda and Bill

From your Director of Administration & Education…
Back in October I attended a three day confer-
ence at a Church in Simpsonville on child
abuse and the church’s role. The course
was called Church Leaders for Children. It
was, I am not sure how to describe this
course. It was an eye opener, revealing, depress-
ing, unbelievable, great, and very helpful. Some of the topics we
discussed were: understanding the impact of trauma on children,
when faith hurts, when child abuse hits home, mandated
reporting for clergy, responding to child abuse, practical
application, and prevention of child abuse in a faith
based setting.
Your children are important to me and to North Ander-
son Baptist Church. In the next few months I will be up-
dating our Policies and Procedures for child
sexual abuse at North Anderson Baptist
Church. I just wanted to let you know that we
are proactive here at NABC and we love
your children.
On another note. I would like to announce that coming in Janu-
ary NABC will be having moving night on Sunday nights at 6
pm. Through-out this winter and spring we will be showing
movies in the gym. We would like to make this a family affair
with popcorn and drinks and fun for all. These will start January
17th and be a mixture of classic films and modern. Make sure
you come and enjoy the fellowship and movies.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering Week of Prayer Sunday, December 6th – Sunday, December 13th
Mission Study & Supper (5:30 pm) Wednesday, December 9th
Ingathering Sunday, December 13th 2015 Goal is $12,000
December is always one of my favorite times of the year as everyone is so filled with
love and the spirit of giving. When I was a little girl I had a glass
piggy bank that I started filling for the next year from the day I
emptied it for the Lottie Moon Offering. It was such a joy to do
that. Then we were blessed for 30 years in Africa to received Lot-
tie Moon offerings to help with the Lord's work among our pre-
cious Zimbabwean peoples. The hospital where our two youngest
children were born was built with these funds years ago.
Now I have fun trying to think of ways to help you catch a glimpse of what joy is
brought to people lost in darkness as they come to the Light of eternal life in Jesus be-
cause you give. Join us for our week of prayer emphasis for the
world in December and our special study of the people and work
in Indonesia. Our week of prayer will be December 6-13. We
will have a special Indonesia meal starting at 5:30 pm on De-
cember 9. Our special mission study will follow the evening
meal starting at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary.
We will have other special things going on this year since we
have decided to have our silent auction on the years that we do
not have our wonderful drive through nativity.
For years we have rented the flags our children use in their march in on the Sunday of
our Ingathering for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. The flags remain throughout
the season hanging from the ceiling in the children's wing. The time has come for us to
purchase our own set of flags. If you would like to be a part of this special project
please make a check out to the church and designate the offering to the WMU interna-
tional flag project. If there is a particular country that you would like for us to purchase
a flag please just tell Dennis or me. We already have several countries requested. We
are asking for a donation of $8 per flag.
Serving you joyfully,
Pam Parker WMU Director

An Open Letter So, you are in your late teens or early 20’s. Now what? You are making some of life’s major
Decisions that will have long term impacts:
What career path will you take?
What friendships will you make?
Who will you marry?
Will I marry?
What about money?
The potential to make choices similar to your peers and follow the trends of our culture are
enormous. But, are these the best choices for you? Many of your peers will make choices
that lead to deepening debt, relationship issues, possible addiction issues and a generally un-
fulfilled life.
Your life can be different. Come fellowship and study God’s Word with us as we seek to
learn how to use Biblical principles to lay a solid foundation for the future. God’s plan is to
prosper you, not harm you, to give you a hope and a future. (Jer 29:11) But, the catch is,
you have to do it His way. See you Sundays at 5 pm. Tim Danyels, Lead Teacher
