OUR$SUCCESS$STORIES$Developing$Investment$Recommendations$for$Incubator$Models$$Client: Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development One of A3P Strategies founders performed pro-bono work for the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Developments Competitiveness Office to analyze the ability of incubator models to address sector development in line with The Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 Report. The work was developed with five incubator models across a dozen potential sectors to be developed and funded by the local government. Out of sixty potential models, the project recommended that the local government invest initially in five different situations to further entrepreneurship in Abu Dhabi. The report became an initial cornerstone for further discussion with the Department about further investments in entrepreneurship and startups.!$Creating$Core$Team$and$Business$Plan$for$AngelCRound$Investment$$Client: Undisclosed Startup A3P Strategies worked with a Washington DC-based startup to develop an initial business plan and a core founding team for its concept addressing financial services for Generation Y. The entrepreneur worked with A3P Strategies through brainstorming sessions and pitch coaching to develop initial documents to engage local angel investors to fund the concept with a six figure-level investment. The entrepreneur successfully raised the angel-round investment. Next, A3P Strategies worked with the entrepreneur to identify local talent to develop its first prototypes for testing with Lean Startup methodology. A3P Strategies successfully incubated the concept from its first sketches through its launch. Aligning$CIOClevel$Strategy$with$Business$Unit$Goals$$Client: Internal Revenue Service In a previous position, one of A3P Strategies founders developed a heat map strategic map for a director-level leader in the IT organization to align its strategies with the goals of business units. In large public-sector organizations, the IT organization tends to not be able to communicate efficiently with the business units at a strategic-level, which leads to long-term frustration about why things dont just work. The heat map strategic map developed a visual canvas to highlight areas, where the IT organization needed to develop more communication about its investment with business units to avoid blind spots in execution. The award-winning effort led the client to give the firm its highest accolades and compliments. !!
