Laura Cheney Cheatham, daughter of Mrs. Roy Earl Knox of Newnan, GA and Mr. James Gilliam Cheatham, Sr. of Wilson, WY, became the bride of James Richard Barnhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Richard Barnhart of Brownsville, June 5, 2010 on the Grand Terrace at the St. Regis in Atlanta with Reverend Gil Watson offi ciating.
Eleanor Lawson of Newnan, GA was the bride’s Matron of Honor. The other Bride’s Attendants were Candace McCowan of Memphis, Courtney Davila of Huntsville, AL, Ashley Mastrangelo of Acworth, GA, Ashley Johnson of Birmingham, AL, Mary Claire Porter of Shreveport, LA and Johanna Cheney of Berkeley, CA. They wore dresses of Blue Moon in silk shantung and carried bouquets of pale blue and white hydrangeas, white Oregon peonies
and shades of cream and champagne roses.
Thomas Carlton, of Brownsville, served as best man. The other groom’s men were Tom Banks of Gadsden, AL, Bradley Maddox of Brownsville, Gabe Bullington of Huntsville, AL, Jason Berryman of Houston, TX and Tanner Knox of Newnan, GA.
The bride was escorted by her father. She chose a custom designed gown designed by Priscilla of Boston Vineyard Collection. The silk taffeta gown featured a sweetheart neckline and ruched bodice, fi nished perfectly with a polished bow and silk covered buttons. The fl owing ball gown skirt led to a chapel length train. Laura’s veil was chapel-length silk tulle completed with hand-beaded Alencon lace appliqués.
Her bouquet consisted of white, lime green and pale blue hydrangea,
Barnhart-Cheatham Vows white Oregon peonies, Eskimo white, shades of cream and champagne roses, white and green lisianthus, white tulips, white astilbe edged in hosta and lemon leaves tied with ivory French satin ribbon, French tied in the front with pearl pins.
