per furniture layout (RH exit shown) .
Wire Management
2 - Route the wires up through the top of the column wire manager, down the back of the column wire manager, and out the bottom of the column wire manager as shown . The image is a cutaway view .
Note: Top cap may be removed and reinstalled to ease assembly .
3 - Apply column wire manager mounting bracket via the preinstalled VHB tape to column where column wire manager is to be mounted . Arrow is to point up towards the worksurface when installed . Bracket to be flush with the top of the foot Ensure adhession by applying pressure to each strip of tape . Please note that the set time for the VHB is 20 minutes for 50% strength, 24 hours for 90% strength, and 72 hours for 100% strength .
5 - Ensure the energy chain is oriented such that the top links smooth sides face toward the back of the worksurface, as shown .
6 - Attach the energy chain to the column wire manager by snapping the two pegs on the energy chain over the two holes on the inside of the column wire manager .
7 - Attach the energy chain to the energy chain attachment bracket & clip assembly . The clip and chain assemble as shown to left .
8 - Press cords into the open face of the energy chain links .Arrows indicate connection orientation

Improperly installed electrical components can fail resulting in personal injury and/or property damage.Connection to a power source should be performed by a licensed electrician. The previous connection and the quantity of receptacles used for a given circuit must both be in compliance with all national and local electrical codes. To prevent personal injury ensure all power sources are disconnected during installation.

Flexconnect™ Electrical System OptionsThe four-circuit, eight-wire electrical system is widely specified and trusted by hundreds of thousands of end-users. This proven system deliversfourcircuitsforeverypowerinfeedineithera3+1or2+2configuration. The isolated/dedicated circuits are ideal for sensitive computing equipment, while the common circuits are suitable for faxes, copiers,tasklightsandotherperipherals.Boththe3+1and2+2systems use the same pre-wired components, making it easy to adjust as electrical needs change.
You can also choose a three-circuit, eight-wire system that has a dedicated neutral for every hot circuit. The three-circuit components havemodelnumberswithan“A”suffix.
Electrical & Data Stride® — Working with Electrical & DataTo Order:1. Determine which electrical system you will
use after consulting your electrician and computer support personnel:•TheFour-circuitsystem

•TheThree-circuitsystem(3-Hot/3-Neutral/2-Ground)
•TheEight-circuitsystem(back-to-backfour-circuit systems)
2. Determine location, quantity and circuit of duplexes.
3. Determine the appropriate choice and use of Isolated, Isolated/Dedicated and Separate Neutrals circuits.
4. Specify appropriate Power Harnesses* and Pass-Thru Cables.*
5. Determine the location, quantity and type of Power In-feeds needed.

The3+1optionistheelectricalstandardusedonAllsteelsystemsfor many years in most installations. This wiring option provides three utility circuits plus an isolated/dedicated circuit for more sensitive equipment. Circuit 2 (one of the 3 common circuits sharing a neutral wire) cannot be used with single-phase building electrical supply.
The2+2optionisawiringoptionthatprovidestwoutilitycircuits and two isolated circuits for more extensive computer usage applications.
