Think of installing more efficient stoves!AAR Beckmann Trust (AARBT) involves itself deeper into Cooking Stove sector: this is in line with the Companysmission to provide solutions that make a difference to life!

Trees for Health project was initially started so that schoolswould use less wood fuel when cooking. AAR then expandand combined the health of theenvironment by growing treeson school grounds. The aimwas to introduce childrensbasic preventive health meas-ures: de-worming, improving of

sanitary conditions andadvocating for access to waterfor hand washing at the toilets.

Many children suffer fromrespiratory and eye infectionbecause of smoke from coostoves. Through its Trust AA

is keeping close watch on thpositive initiatives taking place, in the development of morefficient, cleaner and therefore healthier cooking stoves.

Reference to March 2011 & August 2011 bulletins, we encaged readers to look at possibilities of upgrading their famcooking methods i.e. stoves especially in rural areas.
