ABB Limited is the result of a 1987 merger between the Swedish electrical engineering company,Asea, and the Swiss engineering company, Brown Boveri. This merger created the largest

company in Europe in its industry with 180,000 employees. It was started in Switzerland. Having helped countries all over the world to build, develop and

Generally, the candidate have to apply to his/ her home country unless stated otherwise. Applications to other than native countries will only be accepted if they speak the local language and possess a valid work permit for the country in question. The candidate CV and cover letter must be submitted in English, all other documentation can be in the local language.

HR Analysis for ABB cont……….Each trainee will be assigned a mentor from the very beginning of the program. This person will act as a coach and guide them through their early professional life. Their mentor will be able to give them valuable insight into the world of ABB and assist them in their decision process when choosing particular assignments. All of ABB employees acting as mentors will be experienced professionals in their chosen field of work and will have committed themselves to investing ample time into their relationship.In addition to their mentor they will receive a personal tutor, who will be supervising them during each individual assignment.
