Passionate about training, he is a well-established Speaker at various national and international conferences on subjects like Corporate Governance, Law Enforcement, Security, Ethics, Compliance, Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, Counter-Espionage and Safe Cities. Mr. Sharma superannuated as the Director General of Police of Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Madhya Pradesh in 2013. Utilizing his experiences as the DGP EOW MP, he co-authored a book, ‘Combating Corruption in India’, with Prof. Arvind Verma, Department of Criminal Justice, Indiana University, USA. A PhD in the field of ‘Business Ethics’ from BITS Pilani in 2015 and a post graduate in Industrial Psychology from Bombay University. With over 25 years of experience, Dr Shantaram founded EthicsIndia in 2016 which has now been acquired by Legasis services. She has been instrumental in setting up The Compliance and Ethics Academy which runs the “Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional Course”. HEF (Higher Education Forum, 2013) has awarded her as an “outstanding teacher” in the area of business ethics. She currently teaches Business Ethics at institutes such as IIT Bombay and NMIMS and has conducted over 1000 plus workshops in India and Dubai mainly in the field of soft skills and business ethics.
