Grand Union is a gallery and studios located in Digbeth, Birmingham’s cultural quarter.

We support the development of artists and curators through the provision of high quality workspaces and an ambitious programme of free exhibitions, talks and events.

Run by a small group of artist and curators, Grand Union is part of a growing artistic community with the production of new art and ideas at its heart.

galleryGrand Union hosts six exhibitions and a range of related talks and events each year, often by young, up and coming artists from the UK and beyond. Our programme is interdisciplinary, ranging from painting and sculpture, through to digital media and performance.

Exhibitions are developed through our Associate Curator scheme, which provides hands-on experience to curators at the beginning of their career, with mentorship from respected professionals.
