Paul  M.  Gozzo      Paul  M.  Gozzo  is  a  man  who  likes  to  enjoy  everyday  life.  He  currently  resides  in  Jupiter,  Florida  and  enjoys  his  leisure  time  living  near  the  beach  with  his  pal,  Luigi,  a  Dachshund.  Jupiter  is  a  beach  town  on  the  East  coast  of  Florida  30  minutes  north  of  West  Palm  Beach  with  beautiful  sand  beaches  complete  with  excellent  fishing  and  water  sports  like  surfing.      Paul  is  the  director  of  sales  at  “Lax  Wax”,  a  start-­‐up  company  that  sells  their  patented  Lax  Wax  product  to  lacrosse  specialty  stores  nationwide.    The  company  he  works  for  has  developed  a  unique  roll-­‐up  wax  applicator  for  lacrosse  players  to  ensure  their  mesh  pockets  stay  protected.  When  playing  in  adverse  conditions  such  as  rain  or  snow,    the  head  of  a  lacrosse  stick  can  do  all  sorts  of  weird  things  including  bagging-­‐out,  but  “Lax  Wax”  protects  the  pocket  and  keeps  it  safe  essentially  making  it  waterproof  as  well  as  weatherproof!    Paul  grew  up  in  Avon,  Connecticut,  where  he  went  to  high  school  at  Avon  Old  Farms  and  played  soccer,  hockey  and  lacrosse.  After  AOF,  he  enrolled  in  the  small  New  England  liberal  arts  school  in  Western  Massachusetts  known  as  Amherst  College.  While  at  Amherst  College,  Paul  earned  a  bachelor’s  degree  in  English  and  captained  the  men’s  ice  hockey  team.  Paul  was  also  involved  locally  in  Holyoke,  Massachusetts  as  a  YMCA  volunteer.      After  college,  Paul  moved  to  New  York  City  and  became  accomplished  in  research,  sales,  and  trading.  Currently,  Paul  owns  his  own  research  company  that  he  started  in  2009  where  he  and  his  staff  perform  in  depth  analysis  using  modern  technology  for  select  private  clients  including  WRI  Capital  Group,  an  affiliate  of  Colony  America  Homes.  Paul  also  volunteers  as  a  coach  with  European  Elite  Hockey  training  camps  and  he  has  also  been  the  Director  of  Sales  for  the  Lax  Wax,  LLC  since  the  beginning  of  2013.  www.lacrossewax.com.    Paul  enjoys  life  to  the  fullest  and  he  is  very  fond  of  the  outdoors.  Whether  it  is  fishing,  golfing  or  hiking,  Paul  M.  Gozzo  is  usually  outdoors.  He  often  dedicates  time  to  write  for  his  fishing  blog  that  can  be  found  here  or  posts  pictures  of  his  adventures  here.  Paul  also  finds  the  time  to  help  others.  He  has  become  a  mentor  and  has  been  involved  with  organizations  such  as  St.  George’s  Soup  Kitchen,  Friends  of  Jupiter  Beach,  Urban  Youth  Impact  and  Stand  Down  House,  which  serves  to  help  US  Veterans.  Paul  Gozzo’s  charity  blog  can  be  found  here  where  he  will  chronicle  some  of  the  events.  Paul’s  career  has  afforded  him  the  luck  to  combine  work  and  two  of  his  favorite  sports,  lacrosse  and  hockey,  while  living  in  the  sunshine  state  and  owning  his  own  business.
