About Course

The objective of this two day Refresher course sponsored by Gujarat State Pharmacy Council (GSPC) is to upgrade the professional knowledge from all walks of pharmacy like Hospital Pharmacists, Community Pharmacists, Pharma-cists in business of medicines, Academician & other registered Pharmacists. This course will enrich participants about the role of pharmacists in responsible use of medicines. The sessions are destined to have deliberations by eminent personalities from Academia, Industries, Medical profession, Regulatory bodies like FDCA. They will focus on proper use of medicines to save lives, restor-ing health, prevention of diseases and toxicity, role of pharmacists, patient counseling, drug-drug and drug–food interactions. Upgradation of knowledge by way of attending the refresher course is also mandatory for renewal of registration by State Pharmacy Council.

About Ramanbhai Patel College of Pharmacy

The college was established in the year 2004 under the management aegis of Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Patidar Kelavani Mandal. It was sponsored by Ramanbhai Foundation and is patronized by Shri Pankaj Patel, Chairman and MD, Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd. Shri Pankaj Patel – a philanthropist and a distinguished pharmacist of India requested the trust to establish a pharmacy institute to commemorate his father Late Shri Ramanbhai Patel. Ramanbhai Patel College of Pharmacy (RPCP) is established with a view to promote excellence in pharmacy education and to prepare young talent to meet the challenges of Industrial Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice. RPCP offers B.Pharm, M.Pharm [with specialization in Pharmaceutical Technology, Quality Assurance, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacology & Toxicology and Pharmaceutics (Drug Regulatory Affairs)] and Ph.D. program. M.Pharm Programmes are offered under the auspices of T. P. Patel Center for PG Studies in Pharmacy at RPCP. The Institute is equipped with latest instrumentation facilities including Fluidized Bed Dryer, Extruder, Spheronizer, Tablet Compression Machine, Lyophilizer, High Speed Homogenizer, Spray Dryer, Probe Sonicator, Gel Electrophoresis, HPLC, HPTLC, Spectroflourimeter, BIOPAC system, Cell culture laboratory and State of the art Aseptic Lab complying with Industry norms.
