Lund London was launched by British designer Daniel Lund Savage in 2016. Daniel and his team are driven by a shared passion for creating beautiful, planet-friendly home and giftware from sustainable materials such as bamboo and rice husk, to striking reusable water bottles and straws.

The British brand’s mission is to deliver exciting products that offer innovative ways to be environmentally responsible whilst enjoying superior design and quality.

Lund London’s carefully crafted ranges are loved by a variety of partners from design museums to galleries to concept stores - you can find their products in over 50 countries around the world.

For the past 18 months the team have been working hard devising ways to reduce packaging on existing products as well as increasing the content of recycled material used for all products. Most of Lund London packaging is also recyclable at the end of its life and all plastic bags are being replaced with plant based PLA bags.

Changes have also been made to existing collections with all acrylic being 100% recyclable and our American Ash wood being sustainably sourced from FSC certified forests.

By using sustainable materials such as bamboo, rice husk and vegan soy wax, Lund London are ensuring that beautiful gifts don’t have to come at a cost to the environment.

Bamboo Straws

Our collection of Bamboo straws is made from eco-friendly bamboo, the fastest growing plant on earth. It self-regenerates from its own roots without the need for harsh chemicals or pesticides, and will continually grow without needing to be replanted. Sustainable bamboo also produces 35% more oxygen than most other plants. The straws are 100% bamboo and reusable and though long lasting, at the end of their lifetime are still fully biodegradable. They are available in 6 multi-packs in 2 sizes - 8mm diameter and 12mm diameter.

PLA is short for polylactic acid, and is the latest development of ‘plant based plastics’. Manufactured from organic plant material such as starch or corn wheat, our PLA (or polylactic acid) straw cases are naturally biodegradable and compostable. It actually degrades twice as fast as newspapers! It’s a food safe material which is even used in medical implants as the material breaks down in the body. In the right conditions it takes around 12 weeks for PLA to degrade.

Acrylic is a hardwearing and durable material designed to last. Our acrylic is 100% Japanese optical grade acrylic. Cheap acrylic products are mixed with binders such as plastics which give them impure clarity and make them less eco-friendly. When these cheap acrylics are disposed of they can deposit micro plastics into the sea. The acrylic used by Lund London is 100% recyclable and micro-plastic free. The wood used alongside our acrylic is American Ash wood sourced from sustainable forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC certified wood is fully traceable and responsibly sourced

Rice husks are the coatings of a grain of rice and are a by-product of the food industry. For every kg of rice produced, 0.28kg of rice husks are leftover. When there is no use for the rice husks they are burnt, releasing CO2 into the atmosphere. Instead of being burnt, rice husks can be used to make eco-friendly food products; the material is biodegradable and naturally BPA free. It also resists moisture penetration and is dishwasher safe.

Custom Designs

There are more options for customisation of Lund London’s products. We can match a pantone colour for your company branding or event, and we have a variety of techniques to customise with your logo.

Depending on the logo, we can use silkscreen, water transfer, and decals for multi-coloured or detailed logo’s, images and text on the bottle. Prices will vary depending on your requirements, so let us know what you need and we will let you know the pricing.

MOQ’s on custom colours and logos are higher than engraving and start from 1000pcs on Skittle bottles and straws.

Custom Designs

Development costs may apply but 50% of this cost is refundable against a confirmed order. Sample time is 30 days from receipt of payment. MOQ based on transit packaging, other packaging may be a higher MOQ.
