Ashley-Edison Servo Electronic SES Series Three Phase AC Voltage Regulators,
are designed to ensure that, should the incoming mains voltage drift high or low, the
output voltage remains continuously constant. With inbuilt Transient Voltage Surge
Suppression (TVSS), they also protect electrical and electronic load equipment
against, all to common, harmful high-energy surges, transients and voltage spikes.
With over 25 years of unrivalled experience, gained in some of the world’s most
challenging and demanding power environments, SES AC Voltage Regulators &
Stabilizers include as standard many advanced protection and control features - such
as Independent Phase Sensing, TVSS, Input Circuit Breaker, Bypass Control Switch

Voltage Stabilizer
In situations where there is a
reasonably good mains supply, a
Stabilizer offering an input variation
swing of ±15% (S15 Models) will
usually be more than acceptable, but
in more remote locations, or countries
where the national supply
infrastructure is less developed,
variations of ±20% or greater may be
needed to be accommodated by the
Stabilizer.
An output voltage to within ±0.5%
(±1%) of the preset output voltage is
the norm when specifying a Voltage
Stabilizer. However if a lower output
voltage accuracy of ±3%, or ±5%, can
be accommodated by the load
equipment, the input voltage window
can be further widened proportionally.
Given that the cost of the Stabilizer is
linked to the size of the input voltage
range it has to handle, accepting a
lower output voltage accuracy may
prove to be a more cost
efficient
solution than simply opting
for a larger standard
swing model.

Technology: Servo Electronic - Variable Transformer controlled, series regulation transformer (buck-boast transformer with secondary wired in series with the load).

The permissible input voltage swing is relative to the preset output voltage.
