• Provide meaningful training– Create awareness & hands-

on learning

• Give them time– Time to plan & design

– Time to create materials

– Time to practice (and fail!) & reflect/write

• Encourage them– Support their needs e.g. software, lab,

spaces

– Have reliable tech support

– Highlight their efforts e.g. faculty meeting, reports, bulletin, social media

– Nominate them for awards e.g. ACUM, AAN

• Be with them– Students may complaint – educate them

2. Support your ‘flipped students’

• Infrastructure

- Conducive collaborative learning spaces – noise is permitted

- Accessible learning spaces –students vs. visitors

- Common spaces
