We are one of the national universities with a higher growth with regard to the number of students enrolled, including the 9% of foreign students and more than 1.200 students studying abroad with mobility programs such as Erasmus or Munde, which showy our very important internationalization efforts.

At the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, we are always improving our areas of study and expanding them.One of the main goals is to promote mobility around the world. Nowadays, we have a lot of partner universities and different institutions which collaborate with us on programs such us:

The RCC was created in 1990. Nowadays the agreement is between Harvard University and four Spanish Universities in which URJC is part of its council.

Since 2010, URJC signed an agreement that enable our students to study and do an internship at University California Riverside and DISNEY. Almost 300 students have enjoyed this magic experience!!

Universidad Rey Juan Carlos accounts for more than 1.200 mobility students per year around Europe thanks to the LLP-Erasmus and new Erasmus+.

Since its foundation in 1996, the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos has stood out among Madrid's public universities for its dinamic and vigorous character, conmitted to the progress of society, progress based on an excellent and quality educational system.

The academic offer 2015/16 includes more than 40 degrees, 45 double-degrees, and 85 master programs; as well as on-line degrees and english campus.

The university is located in five campuses in key areas: Madrid, Móstoles, Fuenlabrada, Alcorcón, and Aranjuez.

SPANISH LANGUAGE COURSES AT THE UNIVERSIDAD REY JUAN CARLOS OF MADRID

The courses are taught for different levels, according to the European Frame work of Reference for Language Teaching and Learning: A1 (Beginner), A2( Pre-intermediate) B1(Lower intermediate), B2(Intermediate) and C1( Advanced). Students will take a placement test in order to assign their corresponding level.

Our language center offers an interactive and communicative methodology, along with grammatical and structural contents. There is also a modern language laboratory with multimedia programs to practice pronunciation and speaking. Our library at the University Language Center will provide students with materials to practice outside the classroom.

SPANISH FOR FOREIGNERS QUARTERLY COURSEFebr.-May. Or Septemb.-December 45H4 hours a week (2 weekdays or Friday intensive).

SPANISH FOR FOREIGNERS INTENSIVE SUMMER COURSEEvery July 45H3 hours every morning (Mon.-Thursday).

* It´s necessary a minimum of 10 students per group

COURSES ON REQUEST

The University Language Center is able to organize courses on request of any duration and level, whenever there is a minimum number of 10 students and two months in advance to prepare them.

Over 3.000 students study Spanish at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos every year.
