To be eligible for the water concession: • you must be the holder of a concession card issued by Centrelink or Veterans’ Affairs, including Health Care Cards. • you must be responsible for the account • the property must be used for residential purposes only • the property must be your principal place of residence If you answer ‘yes’ to the above statements, you are eligible for the concession and should call accounts on 1300 553 200 with your details. In doing so, you will be authorising us to confirm your eligibility with Centrelink or Veterans’ Affairs. This consent will be ongoing and can be revoked by contacting us. Understanding your account

Fee descriptionFor a full listing of fees and charges, please refer to the G-MW website.

Service Fee is a fixed fee that recovers the cost of administering entitlements. This includes maintaining customer records, billing and debt management.

Irrigation Service Point Fee recovers the costs of operating and maintaining irrigation service points. This is a fixed fee per irrigation service point.

Domestic and Stock Service Point Fee recovers the costs of operating and maintaining domestic and stock service points. This is a fixed fee per Domestic and Stock service point.

Infrastructure Use Fee is a variable fee that recovers the variable costs of delivering water. This includes the costs of scheduling customers’ orders and operating regulators. The fee is calculated by multiplying the price by the volume of water delivered up to the annual delivery allowance.

Casual Infrastructure Use Fee is a variable fee charged for water delivered in excess of the annual delivery allowance.

Infrastructure Access Fee is a fixed fee that recovers fixed costs of the delivery system including maintenance and renewal of channels, pipes, regulators and bridges.

Entitlement Storage Fee recovers the cost of harvesting and storing water in dams and weirs. This is a fixed fee for HrWS and LrWS and is calculated by multiplying the prices by the volume of the water share. The revenue recovered goes towards operating dams, dam safety upgrades and improving systems for catching and harvesting water for irrigation purposes.
