Voluntary accreditation is the result of a schools efforts at self-improvement; it is not a governmental imposition.

3 Accrediting Agencies under FAAP

Three (3) StagesFull administrative deregulationFinancial deregulation in terms of setting of tuition and other fees and chargesAuthority to revise the curriculum without CHED approvalPriority in the awards of grants/subsidies or funding assistance from CHED/DEP ED.Authority to graduate students without prior approval of the CHED and without need for special orders.Authority to offer new courses allied to existing level III courses without need for prior approval.
