th e com pa rtm ent cover back into th e com pu ter (c) an d
th en lock th e ba ttery in place (d).
Note: Mak e s ure the cover latch is u nlock be fore ins erting
the ba ttery pack otherw is e y ou w on’t be able to ins ert the
battery pa ck.
Note: Wh en us ing a b attery pa ck for the firs t tim e, fully

Using the Windows Battery Mete r
Th e Win dows bat tery meter in dicates th e presen t ba t tery
level. Simp ly rest you r cu rs or on th e bat tery gau ge (or AC
plug) icon on th e tas kba r to s ee the p resent cha rge level of
your ba t tery.
Note: We s uggest that y ou charge the battery pack before
retiring for the day, letting it charge overnight before
trave ling. This e ns ures a fully cha rged ba ttery for us e the
