The winter season is very rainy, and the stronger and longer in recent years. The summer season is very hot and dry. From Bogotá to Tocaima there is a two hours ride. Tocaima City is mainly Catholic and The main church is where one can appreciate the colonial image of Saint Jacinto, patron of the city. - Paragraph 2: Historical events and places.(Add original pictures no more than three pictures). The winter season is very rainy, and the stronger and longer in recent years. The summer season is very hot and dry.

From Bogotá to Tocaima there is a two hours ride. Tocaima City is mainly Catholic and The main church is where one can appreciate the colonial image of Saint Jacinto, patron of the city.

The main Historical events and places in Tocaima are:

- The City Hall, this is where Bolivar and Santander met in 1826.

- Saint Jacinto´s Chapel and the annex convent of Santo Domingo, built by the Panches Indians in 1629.

- The main church, it is where one can appreciate the colonial image of Saint Jacinto, the colonial bell in one of its towers and the murals painted by Alfredo Garzón in wich, using local personages, he narrated the history of Tocaima through the Bible.

- The Guacana Hill, according to the legend it is held by a golden column.

- El Alto de Limba, where the Conqueror Jiménez de Quesada ordered to put a large earthen jar to calm the travelers thirst due to the dryness of the region.

Between the main places visit of interest in Tocaima are:

The Interactive Farm, this farm allows interaction with several domestic animals.

The principal square has more than 100 species of plants. This square is one of the largest of Colombia.

The Camellón del río (River avenue) where most of the basket handicraftsmen live. You can observe their labor and acquire their products at very low prices.

The sulphureous sources of Catarnica and Acuatá, and the medicinal waters of Santa Lucia, Los Pantanos and El Hervidero, are

used to cure arthritis.
