Activating Pro Tools Redemption Codes

Before you can redeem the codes, please ensure you have the following items:

• my.avid.com account (also known as Avid.com master account) If you do not have an account, please follow this link to create one. o

https://my.avid.com/account/orientation • iLok Account linked to avid.com

o If your iLok Account is not linked to your account, it will show:

1. To link your iLok account to your my.avid.com account, click on “Link this account”

2. Enter your iLok User ID

3. On the next screen key in your password and Authorize.

4. To confirm that your iLok account is linked, your account will

show Linked :

Once you have all the above ready, you can now start the redemption process.

1. Login to avid.com with your master account 2. In the section : My Products, click on the link “Avid Software Activation and

Download”

3. Enter the redemption code that was provided to you. And click on “Activate Product”

at the bottom of the screen Note: Each code represents 1 (ONE) Not For Resale License that will last for 365 days from date of activation.

4. Select “Use this account”

5. On the next screen, select “Avid / Reseller not listed”

6. Once completed, you should now be able to see your product activated in your “My Products” page

** Note: you can click on the “show” links to see what is included in your products. All installer links will be shown in the dropdown

7. With this activation, also comes with My Avid Cloud. You can see your project count

and storage space by clicking on the next tab as shown below
