Active8 is designed to showcase the variety of health and wellbeing activities available within Moonee Valley, increase
the level of physical activity of residents and inform participants of the benefits of a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
After hosting the Leisure Challenge for five successful years, we have made some significant changes and we’re very
excited to be hosting Active8 at a new time of year with more than 100 events and activities to enjoy. We’re also offering the opportunity for you to engage with some of our local sports clubs on a regular basis throughout the challenge, to ensure you have a real team experience.

We have broken down the events into five categories making it even easier for you to find events that are right for you:
Booking eventsOnce you have paid your registration fee, all activities are included at no additional cost.
All activities are to be booked online through EventBrite – just click on the “Book Now” button on each page (unless otherwise stated).
Events have limited numbers, and some will fill up very quickly – so make sure you get in quick to secure your place.
All bookings for individual Active8 events close 48 hours prior to the event start time. If you wish to make a booking after this time, contact the Sport and Recreation team on 9243 8888 (office hours, Monday to Friday).
If you are unable to attend an event after booking, please cancel your booking to open the place for another participant.
