Paul Lisicky is the author of five books: Lawnboy, Famous Builder, e Burning House, Unbuilt Projects, and e Narrow Door, forthcoming in January 2016. His work has appeared in Conjunctions, Fence, e Offing, Ploughshares, Tin House, and other magazines and anthologies. His awards include fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Michener/ Copernicus Society, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. He has taught at a number of colleges and universities, including Cornell, Sarah Lawrence, and New York University. He currently teaches in the MFA Program at Rutgers University-Camden, where he edits the journal StoryQuarterly. Limón has received fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts, the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center, and was one of the judges for the 2013 National Book Award in Poetry. She is currently working on a book of essays and a novel. Maaza Mengiste is a Fulbright Scholar and the author of the novel, Beneath the Lion’s Gaze, selected by the Guardian as one of the 10 best contemporary African books. Among other places, her work has appeared in e New Yorker, e New York Times, Guardian, Granta, BBC Radio, TAR, and Lettre Internationale. She is the 2013 Puterbaugh Fellow and has received fellowships from Yaddo, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and the Emily Harvey Foundation. Her next novel, e Shadow King, is set in Fascist Italy and Ethiopia in the early days of WWII, and is forthcoming from W.W. Norton.
