their PUC/12th standard in any discipline.

Applying for the Programme

Application forms will be available at the college campus from April 02nd 2012, Monday between 9.30

hours to 15.00 hours. Filled application forms will be accepted from April 09th 2012, Monday onwards.

Last date for receiving filled application forms is Thursday,19th May, 2011.Completing Your Application

II ADMISSION PROCESS

Review

Once your application has been reviewed, the PES Administrative Office will conduct an Entrance Test

according to the schedule.

Entrance Test

The written test will consist of 50 objective questions of 01 mark each. These questions will be divided

equally over four key areas of social and economic awareness.

General Knowledge

Indian Economy

Business Aptitude

Quantitative Logic Reasoning

Personal Interview

The final rung of the ladder involves a personal interview. Candidates who have emerged successful fromthe other levels will be called to attend a personal interview with the PESBBM Admission Committee.

Final Decision

On completion of the personal interview, the PESBBM Admission Committee will review your application

again, carefully re-evaluating your personal details, performance at the Group Discussion, and the

conclusions drawn from your interview. After this, they will arrive at the final decision.

To qualify for the test, the student must possess a requisite percentage of marks in his / her X standard.

CBSE 50% W.B.Board 60%

SEBA (Assam Board) 60%

PUC 60%

Others 60%

% means total aggregate and not best of any subjects in whatsoever manner. Students should submit a

photocopy of their marks card.

III ADMISSION FORMALITIES

The selected candidates list for the provisional admission to the BBM programme will be displayed on the

website (www.pes.edu) as well as on the campus notice board.

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR BBM PROGRAMME

Languages offered in PES are English, Kannada, Sanskrit, Hindi and Additional English (conditions apply)

and students can opt for only that language which they have studied in XII Std.

No change of language is allowed under Part I, contrary to what was studied at the previous

examination

Certified photocopy of Statement of Marks is required to be enclosed with the application at the time of

submission

SC / ST candidates must submit caste and income certificates

Students from other countries should enclose copies of Migration and Eligibility Certificates, Visa Copy

and Passport Copy

Admissions are made only after personal interview with the BBM Admission Committee

Sessions will be allotted by the committee

Candidates shall produce the original marks card, transfer certificate and five stamp size and fiveidentity card size photographs at the time of admission

Payment of prescribed admission fee should be made on or before the date notified in the university,

failing which the admission is forfeited

Amount once paid towards admission is neither refundable, adjustable nor transferable

Parents & Students have to abide by the fee policy and the rules & regulations of PES

A minimum attendance of 75% in each subject is compulsory. Please note that students who do nothave adequate attendance will not be eligible to write the examination

Parents / Guardians are requested to meet the teachers concerned to ascertain the attendance andprogress of their wards

Any act of misconduct, indiscipline, vandalism / violence or damage caused to the college property,

laboratory equipment, sports materials, library books, reference volumes, journals and periodicals,defacing of furniture and walls etc., shall be seriously viewed for both penalty and punishment and the

decision of the authority is final in this matter

Participation in extra-curricular activities, N.C.C., N.S.S., Sports etc., is voluntary and desirable

Students should strictly adhere to the dress code specified below:

1. College uniform must be worn every day (except Saturdays)

2. Neatness and dignity in dressing should be strictly observed

3. If any dress is found objectionable. Any member of the staff can take immediate action
