Why use weighing in rail applications?

Flexible technology for a perfect fit

The TSR4000 is our most advanced weightindicator. It is used for high speed, in-motionweighing, up to 80 kilometres per hour. It ishighly accurate (to 0.2%) and trade approvedfor European markets which enables the datacaptured to be used for invoicing purposes.The TSR4000 can also be used in industrialapplications for accurate checkweighing andfor health and safety.

The XL100 is a simpler, more cost effectiveindicator option for low speed or staticapplications. It is not trade approved but is idealfor checkweighing, general maintenance workand ensuring health and safety standards.

Load-Line is our PC-based indicator system,focused on wheel loading for load out controlor workshops. It is primarily used for staticapplications and can be integrated directly intoa customer’s PLC.

Weighline rail transducers are OIML-approved andcan be paired with any of the weight indicators in ourrange. Weighline’s effective yet simple design can beinstalled in hours rather than weeks, ensuring minimaldisruption to your operations.

The X-Line rail transducers are available in a bolton configuration for non-trade approved applications.By fitting into the web of an existing rail andconnecting to the XL-100 indicator, X Line is a lowerinvestment option and quicker to install, adding up tolow through-life costs. It is reliable and extremelydurable, with no contact between the load and thesensors, meaning less maintenance requirements.Lightweight and portable, even one person can installand relocate the equipment from one site to another.

Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI)systems can also be integrated into the solutionto automatically recognize vehicles. This enablesyou to monitor your entire wagon fleet andproduct movement on an individual wagon basis.

Our I-Line software captures datafrom the weighing indicators andarchives it. Using this package, customreports can be created about the train,including wheel loads, axleloads, train consist, tare,gross, net and wagontype. I-Line can also flagoverloads, over speed andwagon imbalance, bothside-to-side andend-to-end.
