BOROBUDUR TOUR (MHY 01)

An absolute must are the reclaimed 9th century ruins at Borobudur, the largest

Buddhist monument in the world, one of the seven ancient wonders and a UNESCO

World Heritage site. Borobudur Temple stands serenely on a hill, overlooking lush

fields the walls of its seven terraces covered in low-relief sculpture and extending

over a total length of 3,5 miles each with scene and individual masterpiece. The

layout represents the 10 levels of a Bodhisattvas life that he or she must develop

to become a Buddha, or awakened one. On the way back to Yogyakarta, you will
