I know that the challenges brought forth by limited meetings, concerns for health, and a new look at how our churches conduct ministry can bring stress, and at the same time bring a new perspective to the urgency that we share the Gospel however we can during this time. I imagine that many of you have already developed new ministries, and thought of new ways for reaching out. One pastor passed along ideas of how they are reaching out in this time, and I asked permission to share that idea with you. Here it is: "PROJECT COVID-19 SERVE Dear Church Family, As I’ve been praying about how our church can serve one another during this pandemic, I felt led to initiate PROJECT COVID-19 SERVE. I’m looking for some willing volunteers (individuals or couples) who are not “at-risk” to serve as PC19 SERVANT LEADERS in this project. To be a servant leader in this project, you need to an active member of our church who is not at-risk and has been regularly attending worship and one of our Bible Fellowship Groups. Since this is a ministry leadership position, you must be approved by our Elder Body. Here’s how this ministry will work: 1. You will receive a list from our church office of 10 senior adults or at-risk adults in our church. You will have their phone numbers and addresses. You can also request certain individuals to be on your list, if you wish. 2. You will begin calling these people on a regular basis to accomplish 3 things: 1) Communicate love and concern, establishing a spiritual and emotional connection as well as providing companionship and socialization. 2) Ask the person how you can pray for them, then actually pray for them over the phone. 3) Ask the person what they need, then follow through by doing everything you can to meet that need. (i.e. - pick up groceries, run errands, etc.) You will not be expected to go into the persons home unless you feel led to do so. Groceries or other items can be dropped off on the doorstep. My prayer is that this ministry will continue in some form even after the pandemic is over. I believe relationships will be established in this ministry that will continue through the years.” I really appreciate how this idea calls us toward serving one another as His Church. Be encouraged! Our God is Alive, and His Church is not hindered when we choose to follow Him in obedience. I am praying for you. IN HIS GREAT LOVE, Darrel

Hello All,

Life continues to be an opportunity to minister to those around us.  And we do not want to miss the joy of serving during this time, nor the joy of sharing this service. Your FBA officers met last week, and have made the decision to cancel the spring Quarterly meeting of our scheduled April meeting.  I will miss this opportunity to gather for worship and encouragement, yet continue to pray for God to do a work among us that will bring Him Glory. April Celebrations

Fannin Pregnancy Care Center Praise

We are excited to share that the month of February was filled with blessings. Our

center had a very successful Baby Shower bringing many new baby gifts and supplies

for our moms. A special thanks to Bethlehem Baptist Church as well as our other local churches and organizations. We received

numerous baby baskets from the Trail Life Boys, as well as highchairs, bouncers, pack n

plays and many toiletries and baby clothes from so many of our faithful supporters and

contributors. Thank you to everyone who participated. We are overflowing with

blessings to share with our mothers and their babies.

The Fannin Health Clinic Fundraiser Golf Tournament has been

rescheduled for May 29.
