Oyotunji is the oldest authentic Yoruba African Village in N. America. The African Village, founded in 1970 by, HRM Oba Ofuntola Adefunmi I, the first African born in America to be initiated into the indigenous Yoruba priesthood of Obatala.TRANSCRIPT
To investigate and research the cultures of West Africa and freely offer our findings to the public in the form of ceremonies, lectures, mass media, workshops, written materials, and other public presentations.
