Indicator definitions• Percentage of the population 60 years of age or older: it is the quotient between the population of 60 years of age or older and the total population, multiplied by one hundred. • Sex ratio: it is the quotient between the total of men with respect to the total of women 60 years of age or more, multiplied by one hundred. • Parent support ratio: it is the quotient between persons 85 years of age or more and persons between 50 and 64 years, multiplied by one hundred. It is used to express the family demand for support its older members.
