RC Pontian Installation Dinner (our Sister Club) on Sat 1st Aug 2009 All members who would like to attend the dinner, please contact SP Lee. Transport may be arranged if numbers are sufficient.

Committee reports: Rotary Foundation to brief the meeting on plans agreed

at committee meeting on 7 July 2009.

Club business: Report progress made on clubwide projects. (Avoid

discussing details more properly discussed at committee meetings, club

assemblies, or club board meetings.)

Mrs Christine Laimer founder of Food from the Heart, will speak to us about her work and the new areas they are covering. By the way; in today's paper 8 Jul, Food from the Heart is featured under the Ad for President's Challange (Straits Times on page 5 ) .

Note: Next week, Thursday 16th July our speaker will be Mr Alan Lai, currently Assistant Director at the Transformation Office, reporting directly to the Chief of Air Force. His portfolio includes conceptualising and driving the strategic organisational transformation efforts, and developing communication strategies for the the RSAF.
