Information: 1.04 Staff Report: Dr. Krystana Walks-Harper, director of Pupil and Community Services gave a report regarding changes to the 2020 Election voting centers. She said there will be eleven day and four day voting centers. Pomona Unified School District will have four day voting center for anyone who resides in the Los Angeles area. The centers will be at the following locations: Armstrong, Diamond Point, Golden Springs, and Ranch Hills elementary schools, Diamond Ranch High School, Mendoza Center, and Simons Middle School, starting February 29 through March 3, 2020 from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (Hours will be extended through 9:00 p.m. on March 3 only). This information can be accessed through the PUSD website.

Information: 2.01 Student Presentation: Service Learning Healthy Living (moved to Section #1.04) Mr. Martinez introduced Miriam Landaverde, Ganesha High School student and Garey High School students Jia Bragado, Sushil Bohara, and Cesar Ortiz who gave a presentation about Healthy Living. Their service learning presentation is about raising awareness about the consequences of unhealthy eating and habits that have developed in our local schools. They began by observing the food environments at schools and noticed students have developed extreme unhealthy eating habits on a day to day basis. There is also an abundance of fast food restaurants in the community which are walking distance from schools. Day One assisted in this project and they learned that the community has minimal access to healthy and organic food and childhood obesity is also prominent in the community. Preparation and planning ideas are as follows: Community Garden, Food Pantries; Strategizing with community partner through Day One and focus on raising awareness, advocate for student input, and implement it through a survey and policy. They finalized a solution and concluded that students need to be at the table when decisions are made in order to change food culture in schools, with healthier options for fundraising, i.e. car washes and walkathons; create a student advisory board on nutrition; implement a policy to establish boundaries for fast food restaurants; and develop more in the aspects of the city. Mr. Martinez thanked the students and said he would like to meet with them and get more information and feedback about their research. Community member, Juan Mata, Jr. requested an update regarding his concern he previously brought to the Board’s attention for the lack of proper ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act) walkways, restrooms and baseball field at Pomona High School. Community member, Claudia Kano spoke about issues regarding student and parent programs previously discussed with District administrators that have not been resolved. Orlando Arias, Association Student Body President at Marshall Middle School; Evelia Rocha, member of Padres Unidos; Pedro Gonzalez speaking on behalf of Fabian Pavon from the Pomona Education Coalition; Community member, Deanna Hernandez; Reina Buelna, Josue Garcia, and Daisy Cardenas, members of the Pomona Education Coalition; and Madeline Rios, representative from Latino/a Round Table all spoke about their desire to extend the rights for students and non-citizens to vote in local school board elections and make Ethnic Studies a graduation requirement course for PUSD students. Mr. Martinez announced the Ganesha High School Girls Basketball Team who won the CIF Southern Section Championship and the Boys Soccer Team who won the State CIF Southern Regional Championship and would like to recognize them for their accomplishments. Mrs. Principe introduced team members, gave highlights of their CIF accomplishments and handed out awards. Vince Spirlin, Girls Basketball Coach and Damien Galvan, Boys Soccer Coach from Ganesha High School thanked the Board of Education and Mr. Martinez for recognizing the students for their accomplishments. Mr. Martinez said the business community would like to celebrate students for their CIF victories and cover the cost of the sports banquet which will take place at the Fairplex. Mrs. Krystana Walk-Harper, Administrative Director of Pupil and Community Services introduced Dr. Mark Maine, Director of Health Services who gave an update on the Coronavirus. Dr. Maine said the COVID-19 is a newly discovered respiratory virus and is spread similarly like the flu and common cold. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) recommends taking daily precautions (visit website for the list of precautions and updates at: http://publichealth.lacounty.gov/media/Coronavirus/.) Dr. Maine said the District’s Health Services Department continues to work with the LACDPH in order to maintain a healthy educational environment for students and staff. He said the safety and wellness of students and staff is the District’s number one priority, and if we all continue to adhere to the daily precautions; we can help to ensure the community remains healthy. Program Updates

In the month of February, we continued working with LACOE to finalize our 2020-2021 Funding Application. Our 2019-2020 Self-Assessment process is currently taking place. We will be having a Self-Assessment Overview on March 11, 2020 and will be providing an opportunity to complete our survey.

Ongoing Monitoring Results: Tier One (PUSD)

ERSEA – As part of our Tier 1 monitoring, we are reviewing a minimum of 20 files per month to keep our agency in compliance, which covers all contracts in review (HS, EHS, & EHS-CCP). Also, as we continue to meet full enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year, we are gathering our information by using Report #2025 and continue to meet with staff to place children under accepted, waitlisted and/or enrolled status. We also have ran Report #2115 and out of 1028 slots for Head Start, we have a total of 1,020 enrolled children, 3 children under accepted status, 143 waitlisted children, and 121 dropped children as of 02/29/2020. For EHS, out of 288 total slots a total of 274 children enrolled, 3 under accepted status, 76 dropped children and 19 waitlisted children as of 02/29/2020. For EHS-CCP, out of 72 total slots we have a total of 59 children enrolled, 5 under accepted status, 41 dropped child, and 14 waitlisted children as of 02/29/2020. Continued monitoring of staff and enrollment has continued as we are now mid-year through the 2019-2020 school year. Also, FSS staff is continuing to pre-screen families for all contracts until full enrollment is met for the 2019-2020 school year. Weekly enrollment status is being reviewed by administration and submitted to LACOE ERSEA monitor. Tier one classroom monitoring has begun in the month of August 2019 and will be conducted throughout the school year. AVERAGE DAILY ATTENDANCE ANALYSIS (ADA) (Center-based attendance below 85%) – for February 2020 was 83% for the Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships program (EHS-CCP), 87% for the Early Head Start Center-Based program (EHS CB), 88% for Head Start (HS). The analysis report for programs that fell below 85% has been submitted to LACOE by the first week of each month. As part of our plan of action to improve attendance, PUSD will continue to provide and promote parent education regarding keeping their child/children healthy and precautions to take as well as other health concerns in the community. PUSD will continue to identify consecutive absences, by properly documenting and following up on communication with families to address reasons for absences in ChildPlus’ attendance notes. PUSD will follow up with families that meet the criteria for consecutive absences to provide individual support as needed. PUSD Child Development staff will continue to be informed of consecutive absences, ADA percentage and chronic absenteeism on a weekly and monthly basis to support the Family Service Specialists’ and classroom teachers’ contribution in encouraging regular attendance in the classroom. Vacancies and enrollments are being tracked and monitored on a weekly basis. These are being followed up with the individual Family Services Specialist to be filled from the waitlisted children. Also, weekly enrollment status is being reviewed by administration and submitted to LACOE ERSEA monitor. Family Community Services – Family Services Specialist and supervisors are running FCE reports 9731 on a monthly and quarterly basis. As we are now mid-year through the school year, Family Service Specialists are establishing new goals, partnerships, and assessments with their families. Their follow up is based on their timeframes on an individual basis. Supervisors are working with individual staff on a weekly basis to ensure family services, family needs assessments, goals, referrals and follow-ups are entered into Child Plus timely and accurately. In reviewing report #9731, total Services Received for the month of February 2020 is 63 families out of 72 slots for EHS-CCP (approximately 88% of families); 231 families out of 288 slots for EHS (approximately 80% of families); and 1011 families out of 1028 slots for Head Start (approximately 98% of families). Also, in reviewing Report #4220 Family Outcomes for EHS has had a total of 327 families completed; 93 families completed for EHS-CCP; and 1071 families completed for Head Start for the month of February 2020. Attendance MDT meetings are being held on a monthly

basis by FSS’s and supervisors to discuss children with chronic absenteeism, challenges and possible solutions that will help in planning for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. Disabilities – Disabilities - Child Plus reports are run monthly for the Disabilities service area. Input is completed for updated IEPs and past due IEPs are requested from case managers. Referrals for Disabilities Services and Special Education evaluation are tracked and updated monthly. 25 Head Start classrooms were visited during January for Tier One monitoring. 75 children’s files (3 for each classroom) were reviewed as part of the monitoring as well. Most classes were meeting the mandates for including children with disabilities. All ASQs were completed within the 45-day timeline. This information was shared with the Education supervisors for follow up with teachers. Mental Health – The second round of Tier One Mental Health monitoring continued in February with an additional 19 classes monitored. Monitoring results were provided to teachers and Education Coordinators. Generally, all classrooms had the required mental health areas of observation present, to include social emotional activities and materials available in their classrooms. Fiscal – February 2020 Monitoring of the Financial Management included follow-up on 19-20 Pending BARs that were submitted for realignment. Tier I monitoring also included review of spending ratio for Quarter 2 and planning for Quarter 3 Execution rate target of 70% of budget. Projections indicate that we are on target to spend our remaining budget by end of Fiscal Year. Will communicate with LACOE FL to gather an understanding of the pending payrolls for last quarter that may impact the Quarter 3 spending ratio. Health – Tier 1 Monitoring: EHS Monthly reports next steps: Complete physical exam percentages would increase by 7% if lead and/or levels were obtained. Pomona is working on an MOU to offer lead screening in agency clinic. EHS/CCP Monthly report next steps: Reminder to FSS and health tech staff all children need an identified dental home within 30 days of enrollment. This information will be reviewed at next staff meeting. HS Monthly report next steps: Health staff provided with list of children with outstanding hearing and vision screenings, along with due dates, list of students without dental exams or needing dental treatment and children in need of follow up for vision referrals. Barriers to obtaining health requirements: A total of 16 parents across all programs where reported having a difficult time obtaining lead and hemoglobin results due to having to go to an outside lab. An additional 205 parents have not responded to communications from health techs so the barrier is unknown. Next steps: The agency will develop a MOU to office lead testing in child development clinic. Hemoglobin testing is already available during clinic days. QIP updates: Non-Compliance (13484): Need for consistent/joint procedure for food allergy with medication in the classroom. Existing procedure is now implemented and sustained. Non-compliance closed by LACOE. Non-Compliance (14864 / 14909): Ensuring up to date child health status and ongoing care / Extended follow up and coordinated approaches. Next Steps: 2/5/20: Meeting with LACOE monitor to update health forms, development of system of medication monitoring. 2/12/20: Meeting with LACOE monitor to plan upcoming staff training and feedback for health tracking form. 2/28/20: Health tech, data clerks, FSS staff and supervisors training on health policy and procedures: Health service agency communication, ongoing monitoring & continuous improvement, health record keeping & reporting, follow-up for children not up-to-date and health tracking. Tier 2 Monitoring: No monitoring activities this month. TTA support received on site 2/5/20 and 2/12/20. Nutrition – Tier 1 Monitoring Round 1 at sites has been completed with Nutrition Supervisor and Nutrition Technicians. We have started our Round 2. LACOE Nutrition Monitor was out at our sites in November and was pleased with how meal interaction and conversation takes place with teachers and children. A couple of findings were noted and already corrected providing new tooth brushing supplies and cleaning window in one of the classrooms. Registered Dietitian continues to address nutrition concerns in the classrooms and is following up on any referrals generated.

On February 26, 2020, Pomona participated in a conference call with LACOE in regards to the progress of the Quality Improvement Plan. Participants included Mr. Richard Martinez, Superintendent, Lilia Fuentes Assistant Superintendent, Ms. Keesha Woods, Executive Director Head Start and Early Learning Division, Nina Hauge, Delegate Liaison Team Leader and Eileen Carrillo-Lau, Director Child Development. There are noted improvements in Instructional Staff attendance, completion of immunizations and progress in revising multiple job descriptions to align responsibilities. Areas that need further attention are timely response to facility concerns and monitoring. In addition to, the follow up of Unusual incidents reports and the practice of paid administrative leave in relation to administrative leave. LACOE will be providing support and coaching to ensure there is progress in facilities concerns. All updated job descriptions must be finalized and in place by June 30, 2020. All policy and procedures have been revised and will be submitted for PC and Governing Board approvals.

Program Updates

In the month of March we worked with LACOE to implement our Distance Learning Plan for Child Development Educational and Family Services. Our families will receive lessons plans and weekly check ins from our teachers via phone calls, Zoom, Text, Class Dojo, etc. They will also be provided with online resources and a backpack with hand-held materials. Meals are being served in a drive through style at 6 different school sites for our preschoolers, and Parents of Infants (0-11 months) will receive a weekly call to inform that we will be offering formula, baby cereal and baby food per their developmental stage. A package of the formula, baby cereal and baby food will be assembled for parents to pick up every Friday as needed. Mental Health staff will be compiling a list of resources for the current, specific mental health services that are available for our Pomona/Head Start parents through our mental health community agencies (i.e. TriCity, Pacific Clinics, Masada Homes, etc.) to post on our website and to provide to teachers as a resource as well. This will include agency numbers and how to access services in general. Mental health referrals will be reviewed and follow up phone calls will be provided to targeted clients/families based on history of the case and/or identified needs for new referrals. Based on those contacts, continued follow up will continue monthly or as is decided with the family. Consultation with assigned outside providers will occur if/when needed based on family contacts. Family Services Specialist (FSS) will continue to work with families via phone at a minimum once a month to follow up and see how they are doing. FSS will offer them support if needed by referring them to agencies that may be able to assist them to address their needs. FSS will conduct all follow ups based on our current Policy and Procedures (2 days for referrals, 15 day follow up on any emergency crisis and 60 day follow up for non-emergency needs identified).

Ongoing Monitoring Results: Tier One (PUSD)

ERSEA – As part of our Tier 1 monitoring, we have reviewed a minimum of 20 files per month to keep our agency in compliance, which covers all contracts in review (HS, EHS, & EHS-CCP). Since the school closures took place on March 13, 2020 due to the COVID-19 virus, we continue to keep in compliance with all mandates as accurately as possible. We continue to run Report #2115 and out of 1028 slots for Head Start, we have a total of 1,023 enrolled children, 0 children under accepted status, 147 waitlisted children, and 123 dropped children as of 03/13/2020. For EHS, out of 288 total slots a total of 280 children enrolled, 4 under accepted status, 76 dropped children and 14 waitlisted children as of 03/13/2020. For EHS-CCP, out of 72 total slots we have a total of 61 children enrolled, 2 under accepted status, 44 dropped child, and 13 waitlisted children as of 03/13/2020. Continued monitoring of staff and enrollment has continued as we are now mid-year through the 2019-2020 school year. Also, FSS staff is continuing to follow-up with their families for all contracts to fulfill the 2019-2020 school year. Weekly enrollment status is being reviewed by administration and submitted to LACOE ERSEA monitor. AVERAGE DAILY ATTENDANCE ANALYSIS (ADA) (Center-based attendance below 85%) - No updates at this time. Family Community Services – Family Services Specialists and supervisors are running FCE reports 9731 on a monthly and quarterly basis. Due to school closures at PUSD for the COVID-19 virus, Family Service Specialists are continuing to establish new goals, partnerships, and assessments with their families, while working from home. Also, in reviewing Report #4220 Family Outcomes for EHS has had a total of 330 families completed; 97 families completed for EHS-CCP; and 1073 families completed for Head Start for the month of March 13, 2020. Since the Pomona USD school closure due to the COVID-19 virus, some annual review and initial IEPs have not been completed by their due date. Special Education administrators are working on ways to hold IEPs and hope to have a plan soon. Referrals for Disabilities Services and Special Education evaluation are tracked and updated monthly. Per Pomona USD Special Education, for evaluations that have not been completed prior to the school closure, IEP meetings will not be held and the evaluation process will not be completed until school is back in session. 27 Head Start classrooms were visited during March for Tier One monitoring. 81 children’s files (3 for each classroom) were reviewed as part of the monitoring as well. Most classes were meeting the mandates for including children with disabilities. All ASQs were completed within the 45-day timeline. This information was shared with the Education supervisors for follow up with teachers. As a result of the school closure occurring for the remainder of this school year, the classes not visited for the second round of Tier One monitoring cannot be completed. Mental Health – The second round of Tier One Mental Health monitoring continued in March with 74 of the total 77 Early Head Start and Head Start classes completed prior to the Covid-19 school closures, announced on March 13, 2020. The final three Head Start classes were on track to be monitored by March 20, prior to the March 31 deadline as required by LACOE prior to the unforeseen interruption. All prior monitoring results were provided to teachers and Education Coordinators. Tier One mental health monitoring included classroom observation of classroom management, staff/student interactions, social emotional lessons and activities, required mental health information and hotlines posted and general safety and program practices. Child Plus reports continue to be run monthly to track all mental health referrals, related activities, and results of developmental screenings, with contacts to families resuming this month as well. Fiscal – March 2020 Monitoring of the Financial Management included review of Cost Reports to ensure timeliness as well as compliance of expenses reported. The reported expenditures are consistent with the financial records and aligned with the Exhibit B-2 of each program. The review also included the execution rates for all programs using cost report expenditures, HS at 69.39%; T&TA at17.76%; Dosage at 69.20%; Dosage Expansion 69.2%; Dosage Start-Up 26%; EHS at 64% and EHS-CCP at 65.33%. The 3rd quarter execution target was 70% however due to the current situation with COVID-19 pandemic we are facing challenges in placing purchase requisitions or conferences have been cancelled and this is greatly impacting our spending for the program year in the T&TA and the HS Expansion Start-Up budgets. A more thorough analysis of the execution rates was done to include encumbered payroll for March 2020 services of certified staff is considered, the following execution rates are met for grants: HS at 72.30%; Dosage at 73.77%; Dosage Expansion 71.87%; EHS at 71.21% and EHS-CCP at 72.99%. In addition, NFM percentages were reviewed and analyzed to determine what program will need a NFM waiver. Health – Tier 1 Monitoring: EHS Monthly reports next steps: 20 children are possibly under immunized. Health staff will be provided with a list of students to follow up on upon return to the office. EHS/CCP Monthly reports next steps: Review with health staff to track needed immunizations and tuberculosis screenings every 30 days. Reminder to FSS and health tech staff all children need an identified dental home within 30 days of enrollment. This information will be reviewed at the next staff meeting. Monthly reports next steps: Complete physical exam percentages would increase by 6% if lead levels were obtained. Pomona is working on an MOU to offer lead screening in agency clinic. 32 children do not have a physical exam submitted. RNs will begin contacting families to provide assistance.

Classroom observations: Monitoring this quarter was completed by the health LVN at Cortez, Barfield, Philadelphia, Lopez, Lexington and Emerson. Next steps: A list of needed postings and repairs shared at department meeting by health program assistant. Medication: Desk review were started this month and completed for 25 files. No serious concerns identified. Some files with missing classrooms and copy of referrals, these were corrected on the spot. Next Steps: Continue review remaining files until 100% of files have been reviewed. QIP Updates: Non-Compliance (14864/14909): Ensuring up to date child health status and ongoing care / Extended follow up and coordinated approaches. Next Steps: 3/3/20 Joint meeting with FSS staff and supervisors, health techs, and RNs for development of solutions to assist parents with improving classroom attendance and obtaining health requirements. 3/11/20: Meeting with LACOE monitor to discuss system for medication monitoring, file reviews, medication paperwork and classroom observation. Tier 2 Monitoring: Health coordinators are meeting twice weekly with LACOE Health Monitor. During these meetings agency policies and procedures will be reviewed and modified as needed. Meetings have addressed agency monitor, LACOE has been sharing information on planning for keeping children and families healthy and well during an online planning meeting on 3/12/20. LACOE will be following recommendations from Los Angeles Public Health. Nurses listen to all daily updates and additional updates offered exclusively for early child education and schools. Nutrition – Round 2 of Tier 1 site monitoring for all classrooms was completed in March. Round 3 was starting when closures were implemented. Nutrition department continues to offer meals to infants’ ages 0-11 months. Registered Dietitian continues to address nutrition concerns and following up on any referrals generated.

IN SUPPORT OF K-12 BALANCED ENERGY WHEREAS, California’s energy policies are critical to reducing greenhouse gas

emissions and reducing the impact of climate change on the state’s population; and

WHEREAS, the state legislature and state agencies are increasingly proposing new legislation and regulations eliminating choice of energy by mandating technologies to power buildings and public and private fleets as a strategy to achieve the state’s climate goals; and

WHEREAS, clean, affordable and reliable energy is crucial to the material health, safety and well-being of students, teachers, school administration and staff; and

RESOLUTION NO. 26 (2019-20) IN SUPPORT OF EDUCATION PROTECTION ACCOUNT

WHEREAS, the voters approved Proposition 30 on November 6, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Proposition 30 added Article XIII, Section 36 to the California Constitution

effective November 7, 2012; and

WHEREAS, the provisions of Article XIII, Section 36(e) create in the state General fund an Education Protection Account to receive and disburse the revenues derived from the incremental increases in taxes imposed by Article XIII, Section 36(f); and

WHEREAS, before June 30th of each year, the Director of Finance shall estimate the total amount of additional revenues, less refunds that will be derived from the incremental increases in tax rates made pursuant to Article XIII, Section 36(f) that will be available for transfer into the Education Protection Account during the next fiscal year; and

WHEREAS, if the sum determined by the State Controller is positive, the State

Controller shall transfer the amount calculated into the Education Protection Account within ten days preceding the end of the fiscal year; and

WHEREAS, all monies in the Education Protection Account are hereby continuously

appropriated for the support of school districts, county offices of education, charter schools and community college districts; and

WHEREAS, monies deposited in the Education Protection Account shall not be used to

pay any costs incurred by the Legislature, the Governor or any agency of state government; and

WHEREAS, a community college district, county office of education, school district, or

charter school shall have the sole authority to determine how the monies received from the Education Protection Account are spent in the school or schools within its jurisdiction; and

WHEREAS, the governing board of the district shall make the spending determinations

with respect to monies received from the Education Protection Account in open session of a public meeting of the governing board; and

WHEREAS, the monies received from the Education Protection Account shall not be

used for salaries or benefits for administrators or any other administrative cost; and

WHEREAS, each community college district, county office of education, school district

and charter school shall annually publish on its internet website an accounting of how much money as received from the Education Protection Account and how that money was spent; and

RESOLUTION NO. 26 (2019-20) EDUCATION PROTECTION ACCOUNT

WHEREAS, the annual independent financial and compliance audit required of

community college districts, county offices of education, school districts and charter schools shall ascertain and verify whether the funds provided from the Education Protection Account have been properly disbursed and expended as required by Article XIII, Section 36 of the California Constitution; and

WHEREAS, expenses incurred by community college districts, county offices of

education, school districts and charter schools to comply with the additional audit requirements of Article XIII, Section 36 may be paid with funding from the Education Protection Act and shall not be considered administrative costs for purposes of Article XIII, Section 36.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,

1. The monies received from the Education Protection Account shall be spent as required by Article XIII, Section 36 and the spending determinations on how the money will be spent shall be made in open session of a public meeting of the governing board of the Pomona Unified School District;

2. In compliance with Article XIII, Section 36(e), with the California Constitution,

the governing board of the Pomona Unified School District has determined to spend the monies received from the Education Protection Act as attached.

NOT REEMPLOY CERTIFICATED EMPLOYEES DUE TO A REDUCTION OR ELIMINATION OF PARTICULAR KINDS OF SERVICES

WHEREAS, the Governing Board of the Pomona Unified School District (“District”) adopted Resolution No. 18 (2019-2020) on February 19, 2020, authorizing and directing the Superintendent, or designee, to initiate and pursue procedures necessary to reduce or discontinue the equivalent of 14.0 full-time certificated employees of the District pursuant to Education Code sections 8366, 44949, and 44955 because of a reduction or discontinuance of particular kinds of services; WHEREAS, consistent with Resolution No. 18, on or before March 15, 2020, the District properly served notice on the affected employee(s) classified as an Early Head Start Teacher and Adult and Career Education Teacher in Medical Billing that the District will reduce or discontinue their services for the 2020-2021 school year; WHEREAS, the affected employee(s) classified as an Early Head Start Teacher all requested to be reassigned to a 10-month Child Development Teacher position;

WHEREAS, the affected employee(s) classified as an Adult and Career Education Teacher in Medical Billing, listed on “Attachment A,” did not request a hearing or withdrew their request for a hearing and, therefore, sufficient cause exists for not reemploying the certificated employee(s) listed on “Attachment A”; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Board of the Pomona Unified School District as follows:

A. That the following particular kinds of services be reduced or eliminated, as modified herein, commencing with the 2020-2021 school year:

POSITIONS FTE Teacher – Adult and Career Education in Medical Billing 2.0 Teacher – Early Head Start 12.0 Total FTE Reduction: 14.0

B. That the Superintendent of the Pomona Unified School District, or designee, is authorized and directed to notify those certificated employees listed on Attachment A, prior to May 15, 2020, that pursuant to Education Code sections 44949 and 44955, their services will not be required by the District for the ensuing 2020-2021 school year. Said Notice shall be given by serving upon the certificated employees a true copy of this Resolution.

C. That the Superintendent, or designee, is authorized and directed to take any other

action necessary to effectuate the intent of this resolution and finalize layoffs.
