[LIVING ALLOWANCE]

[News]

Allowances:

mobility, travel and career exploratory allowance have been merged into

one single allowance. This mobility allowance is a monthly payment of a

flat rate contribution to cover expenses related to the mobility (relocation,

family expenses, language courses, travel expenses etc.)

Depending on the family situation :

€ 1000/month: experienced researcher with family obligations

€ 700/month: experienced researcher without family obligations

Financial Regime

for the host organisation

• A contribution to the training expenses of the eligible experienced researcher managed by the host organisation Es: consumables, conferences/trainings, memberships journals, other fees, etc

€800 per researcher-month • Management/Overheads* Fixed-amount of €700 per researcher-month

*the correction factor for the cost of living

[for the Host organisation]

[Example]

An experienced researcher with 8 years of experience and with family charges, coming from Bucharest to Paris for 2 years with an Intra-European Fellowship under an employment contract:

Living allowance: € 58,500 x 2 years = € 117,000

Mobility allowance: € 1000 x 24 months = € 24,000

Correction factor for France =115.8%

(Living allowance + Mobility allowance)* Correction factor for France =

€ 141,000 x 115.8% = € 163,278

European Union Contribution for the experienced researcher (gross): €163,278

[Example]

Contribution to the participation expenses of eligible experienced researchers (managed by the host organisation) Training, research and dissemination costs: €800 x 24 = €19,200 European Union Contribution for the activities carried out by the experienced researcher: €182,478 EXPENSES FOR THE ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT BY THE HOST ORGANISATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE EXPERIENCED RESEARCHER ARE ADDED TO THIS AMOUNT: Management costs and contribution to overheads: € 700 x 24 = €16,800 Correction factor for France = 115.8% (Total management costs and contribution to overheads) x Correction factor for France = €16,800 x 115.8% = €19,454.4

[Example]

In summary:
