1 Dear AGO Friends, To begin I want to thank Joel Chapman for graciously opening his home for our Twelfth Night party on January 8. We have interesting programs throughout the year but it is good to have a break midyear just to unwind from Christmas. Looking ahead to our next gathering on Monday, February 5, there are a couple of things I want to share with you. One of our members, Hillsman Wright, will give us a presentation about the restoration of the Clayborn Temple organ. This is a project of interest to our chapter as well as to the larger community of Memphis. CD’s and organ music from Joe Holloway will be available for browsing and distribution. Please look through these and find a new home for his lovely collection. Following our membership meeting we will move to the evening’s program which will be an exploration of the process of musical composition led by our member, Dennis Janzer. Dennis will discuss his approach to composition and even the challenge of publication. Then he will share with us the finished musical products. Please join us as usual at 6:00 PM for social gathering, 6:30 PM for dinner, 7:00 PM for the membership meeting, and 7:30 for the program of the month. We gather this month at St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, 700 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. Until then, Barry Oliver Dean, Memphis AGO We are saddened by the death of our dear friend Bill. William S.
