Students will begin to develop intellectual autonomy in their abilities to aesthetically and persuasively represent ideas in the visual arts;
Students will present their initial ideas for their BODY of WORK which will take the form of a visual and verbal presentation to their Teacher, Head of CAPA and class, explaining their idea and the way they intend to proceed. Plan of action.
The Case Study is an in depth research project that focuses on
a specific area or topic.
Artists who SHOCK! Students will research a number of artists who have deliberately
or accidently shocked the artworld, critics, the viewing
public or all of the above. Presented as an illustrated essay.
Students will demonstrate intellectual autonomy in their abilities to aesthetically and
persuasively represent ideas in the visual arts; Students will
present their almost complete Bodies of Work to their
Teacher, Head of CAPA and the class by creating a mini
exhibition and explaining the work so far conceptually and
materially.
